Sounds like some AFK cloakly type got under your skin OP. Mission successful.

no... he got killed after down time.... It is possible to kill them when they log in i guess or when they make mistakes. This thread Was just some random idea about people should play the game. The person camping did not effect me or any-one i know. but gets me to think is a sb to afk........ Sad i guess more so sadder how people defend it. Every one has a way to play the game i guess .. Some just chose to hide or go to sleep while afk. I wonder if they are thinking WINNING !

They defend it, because it is balanced against your all powerful local intel channel.

If you want AFKing removed, then local has to be a part of that removal.

And no, they are nothing like bots. That is a ridiculous suggestion to make and only goes to show your ignorance of the mechanics being used.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

would you go afk all day in a sb. I have made a none stop full circle around null sec-- eve in a sb and it was fun but I dont think I would ever go afk in a system for days and days. It be no different then maco miners. If your one of these sad peeps i understand the need. It is more out of feeling sorry and wanting some reds to play then to hide. That i shared this idea. Just saying there are others ways to protest a system then to hide like a wimp.....just saying

You still don't get it do you. They AFK because you can see them in local. It's called psychological warfare for a reason and local is a great tool for that purpose.

How is it in anyway related or similar, to macro mining or botting? Please do tell, I'd love to know that twisted logic.

Many would say you're the wimp for being scared over a single red in the system, but I digress.

No, I do not AFK. But I do see the need for it, when local is such a powerful and easy instant intel tool. As and until local is changed, then AFKing will remain. But as you're unwilling to discuss local at all, you obviously have no real desire to end AFKing.

OP I'm I will give you the short answer, as I don't have the will to write out the same arguments I've been posting for the last two weeks. No, this would ruin WH's and this would defeat an entire play style. It's like a nullbear trying to tell a Highsec Merc how to fight in Jita because he got ganked there 3 months ago. Your reasoning is comical at best.

Just because you can sit in a ship and fly it doesn't mean you know how to use it. Understanding concepts of how things operate in relation to each other is something that the OP severly lacks.

Finally I will leave with some advice to the OP, (I mostly tell this to my teenage students) if you feel like you don't know, research it and learn; if you feel like you do know you must realize that you have just scratched the surface of your understanding, repeat step one. In either case no one wants to hear your bullshit.

MMOs come and go, but Eve remains.  -Garresh-
