Launcher v.1.419 not launching EvE on fresh install

My desktop system uses v.1.32 of the EvE launcher without problems.

I just downloaded and installed EvE on a new laptop and it won't launch after pressing PLAY.

The v.1.419 launcher says that the "Client is ready" but pressing PLAY does F-all...

Ugh

Anyone else with this problem with a fresh install of the EvE client?

**Edit// Nevermind I found the workaround and solved the problem...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Titans on fire outside "The Alamo" of NOL-M9. I watched massive Super Capital fleets glitter in the dark near the BKG-Q2 gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...  Time to die.

There's an update to the SISI launcher that fixed this problem for me.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.
