More standing slots needed to make NRDS a valid game choice

Hi
I fly NRDS and follow the CVA KOS list. Each day i log in and see a mail with standings update.

The alliance adds all KOS from the KOS list and they are limited to around 2400 standings slots the my corp has 1068 standings slots. Every time alliance slots get full, I get a mail with new ppl/corps/alliances to add to corp standings. When our list get's full we send a list to corp members. Think the KOS list is between 5000 and 15000 entries and growing every day.

I use 1-2 hours of game time every week storting standings. This slowly kills my enjoyment of EVE
I see no reason whatsoever for me doing the excact same standings cleanup as the ceo's/diplos/directors in the 12 other corps in our alliance and that's just us. what about all the others that follow this KOS list, they are doing the excact same things - I wonder how many ppl are cleaning standings instead of playing the game?
A couple ideas for a sollution.
- More slots for both corp and alliance - Free of charge -
- More slots bought from concord(or other central computing corp) on a 30d basis, added isk sink and added incentive to clean up in standings.
- The ability to subscribe to standings. Most of my null sec time i'd been following the standings of some larger entity - it would be brilliant if I could "subscribe" to their standings ie. follow CVA standings/ KOS list check this box. (a more computer savy person might have a good way of doing this)

besides posting in this thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=98941&p=4 and making this seperate thread, I've accutually been so desperate that i created a pertition. I like flying NRDS it's fun, but the standings problem keeps getting in the way.

in the bottom is a mail recived a couple of days ago when both alliance and corp standings was filled
PLEASE fix this :)

Best regards
-CM

ALL members!!!

Please add the following to your PERSONAL standings at -10. There is no more room in the corp standings so we have had to remove standings for all singular players. Failure to comply could cause ship loss.

Many Thanx
------------- (edit: Name removed)

Edit: 49 KOS names removed

note: alliance standings has been full for 3-5 months

What about a custom player made groups for standings, that could be shared with contacts? That way you could just add entities to your own custom consolidated list, and other players could apply the list for their own custom standings. As you change the custom list, it changes for everyone else using it. Of course, I'm sure there would have to be some sort of wait time upon updating.

Yea ok, I can live with this. I do see some potential lack-of-available-memory issues preventing this from happening though. (probably why you have this problem in the first place)

Solution: shoot everyone and sort out compensation later.

Or you could accept the fact that everyone you encounter is a potential threat.

(But really, I would like an "inherit standings from" option.)

Or CVA & company could start reporting neutrals in their intel channel like normal people do...

Fact is, you shouldn't NEED so many standings slots, and setting every red you find in the EvE universe to red is a stupid, immense, neverending chore. When will you idiots learn that if you just REPORT NEUTRALS in intel, it won't matter if you set them red or not?

It's pretty hilarious that you now have to get mails just to set some random jackoff red. The game doesn't need more standings slots just because your alliance is solely focused on cramming the list plum full. Even if the list was near infinite, we could be rest assured that CVA would still fill it.

Ok, I am gonna focus on the point the OP wants, which is making NRDS a valid option going forward.

At no point does shooting or reporting neutrals forward this objective. That would be NBSI, not NRDS.

Pushing for everyone outside of high sec to be NBSI is a big part of the reason why a lot of players don't have an interest in leaving high sec.

Some sort of automation on this would certainly make it more enjoyable for the NRDS style, although I suspect only the code crunchers at CCP could begin to fix that.

Expand the corp / alliance shared slots would be the first place I would look.

NRDS is already a valid option. Alliance can focus on alliances. Corps can focus on corps. Players can focus on players. Why do CVA etc. put so much trust in their blues that they will rat with them in system, but so little trust in their own corporations that they don't leave the smaller standings settings to the corps themselves?

The problem isn't with the game; it's with the players.

(EDIT)

Also, there are several huge flaws with the way they all operate:

#1. Enormous conflicts right in the intel channel about who is and is not hostile because their policies are ****.
#2. Extreme reliance on a KOS list that is largely ineffective and unreliable.
#3. The incredible ease with which one can infiltrate the area and AWOX the **** out of anyone, given their "innocent until proven guilty" methods.

Let's face it. The coalition's policies just plain blow.

besides a regular bump i have a added solution and a question

added sollution:
- make a skill that adds more standing slots, on corp or alliance lvl

added question:
- i began to add personal notes on all red chars i encounter in the format 'RED YYYY-MM-DD' under the show info --> notes tab.
*how does this affect the hamsters?
*where are my notes stored? (my own computer or servierside?)
*whats the cost server side for all provi residents doing this? (seems to be the general sollution btw)
