EVE Online: Inferno 1.2 has been deployed successfully.

Inferno 1.2 brings a large amount of improvements, including a revamped tutorials for the New Player Experience, fitting enhancements, full alchemy reactions, ship rebalancing of frigates and mining barges and a lot more.

For full details, especially already known issues, please check the patch notes.

When reporting issues, please specify which client you are using (Mac or PC). This thread is for reporting issues only; for general feedback please use the Inferno 1.2 feedback thread here.

Known issues update
1. Some anomalies and incursions do not respawn properly. This issue is currently being investigated with high priority. A hotfix is currently deployed to fix this issue. This issue has been resolved now during a server downtime from 20:35 to 21:00 UTC, August 8.

2. Corp hangers for some player owned stations can't be accessed by CEOs and directors. A fix for that is currently under development and will be deployed during downtime on August 9. Fixed with EVE Online: Inferno 1.2.1 on August 9.

3. The third turrets on some attack frigates are not displaying a graphic on the ship. The turrets are operating correctly but are currently invisible.

4. The tutorial may continue to appear at every log-in if not completed. There is a workaround available at: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1769340#post1769340 Fixed with EVE Online: Inferno 1.2.4 on August 14.

If you get a 'font' issue with mysterious characters in menus and large fonts, restart the client. This seemed to resolve it for everyone who noticed it.

Before the patch, in order to use a rookie ship as a cyno ship you needed:

1x Cyno module
1x Micro Aux module

Cyno IV skill.

After the patch, caldari + minmatar + gallente needs:

1x cyno module

Cyno IV skill.

Whereas the amarr now needs:

1x cyno module
1x cargohold expander (does not matter which, T1 is fine).

Cyno IV skill.

Do you see the problem?

Development
The mining barge was designed by ORE to facilitate advancing the mining profession to a whole new level. Each barge was created to excel at a specific function, the Procurer's being durability. With that in mind, the designers could only make space to fit one mining or ice harvesting module. To mitigate the effect this would have on the ship's mining output, they came up with a unique loading system that allows this one module to work at triple efficiency.

My Mistake is 3x on ice mining only. Oops

In the devblog, it clearly states that this is our balancing plan for winter?

I have an issue with the Mining cargo holds modified sizes, I normally carry 3 of each of the mining crystals I know you reduced the size of them but even removing some of them 350 M3 is not big enough. Needs to be about 500 or 600 or even allow the crystals to be stored in the ore hold.

I dont think im the only one who is going to have this problem and will effect the othe mining ships as well.

Can something be changed to sort this.

Also is the new ORE mining frigate out? Cannot find it anywhere on notes or market.
(Silly question I think best to ask when is it comming out)

it is stated that the objective, as part of the T1 frig overhauls, was to get rid of the mining frigates in favour of a single dedicated ORE frigate. so why, if the T1 frigate rebalancing is complete, do we still have redundant mining ships for all of the races? and now with the rookie ships supporting large boosts to EWAR there are now two types of EWAR frig for each race. Also, this announcement was made alongside the revelations of the new roles of the mining barges. in no way is it made clear that the ORE frigate is for winter release, and it doesnt even make sense given the timing of this update...

am i wrong?

X = 10
X * 100 % = 20
x * 200 % = 30

X=10
X*2 = 20
X*3= 30

100% increase is a increase of factor 2. Hope that resolves some math questions.
