my first kill on a trial acc.

Helo capitans.

Wanted to share my first kill.
And since i cant post anywhere elese im posting here.

I was in my tormentor worth like 1 mil with fittings in 0.0 on a gate.
Then a manticore warps on the gate and startst agroing me.

Many people play EVE for years and are still awful. The guy in the link apparently was flying bombers without understanding how missile damage worked.

Congrats; the ballsiness to just go out there and shoot at whatever comes at you is something many people lack and what keeps a large part of the playerbase out of PVP.

I approve this attitude of new players.

Congrats and hope you will stick around and have plenty of more kills.

This is a great example to counter all newbs who say that new players are useless.

Congratulations man, to even get a decent ship fitted out in the 14 day trial is great, let alone going into nullsec, let alone getting a kill there! Congrats again, seems like you're going to have a lot of fun in EvE.

That Manticore needed a MWD not an AB, but other than that it isn't that bad, certainly not the worst fit ever.

The real fail is engaging a Frigate with Torpedoes. I wouldn't engage anything below a BC in a Stealth Bomber, bomb runs aside.

Gratz on a nice kill. Just understand what the lesson is here. It's all about target selection and that was out of your hands. In this case paper attacked scissors. The Manticore pilot threw his ship away. But Eve is full of idiots, you'll find more in your travels.

Congratulations on your first kill in first weeks of EVE :D

Balls to go out into 0.0 and in a properly fitted frigate brings tears of joy to my eyes.

I sense a new subscriber to EVE.

Don't mind if I show this to my coworkers who don't believe that a new pilot is a viable PVP player, provided he or she know what they are doing.
