Time for another Thank You CCP thread

Yup, I'm gonna do it.

There's so much negativity, uncertainty, worry and whining in and out of the Forums I thought it was time to once again prop up CCP with a bit of appreciation and recognition for this great game. Let's forego CCP's past/present/upcoming slip-ups for a minute and just spread some hugs to these guys.

So...

Thank you CCP for this great game!!

It has entertained me like no other. It brings good times, bad times and interesting times. It has gotten me into trouble with the missus on many, many occasions and caused friends to realise how much of a geek I am when I try and explain EvE to them. It has provided me with the distraction we all need from real-life. I have made friends through EvE - some of which are now good buddies of mine in real-life. I still get the pounding heart and adrenaline buzz in PvP even after 6 years of playing. I still get that rage swell up in me when I lose billions of pretend-money through my stupid mistakes or to worthy (and unworthy) foes. I still get that feeling of dread when I have to manage PI or put up/take down a POS.

Then there is the very rich and vibrant community that has been created around EvE. I have written and read Blogs, listen to Podcasts, partake in the Tweetfleet and followed the politics.

So, to the Alliances and their wars and people like the Goons (who, deep down, we all really love them back, too), the Alliance Tournements, Hulkageddon, the trolls, the whiners, the Gate-Campers, the Miners, the AFK Cloakers, the Blob-Fleets, the Gankers, the Station-Spinners, the solo Alt-Corps, the Pirates, the Anti-Pirates, the Griefers, the Mission Runners, the Explorers, the Hauler's, the Mercs, the Industrialists, the Incursion-Runners, etc, etc - I thank you all. And it is all possible thanks to CCP.

Now I'm going to go outside and hug a tree.


TL;DR - I love this game (quirks and all) and I thank the players that make it and CCP who build it.

If you have in your hands the key to the fulfillment of your life's ambition and superiority over most, if you are aware that there is an absolute power on hand (just over the basic moral principles) how far are you willing to go and through what you are willing to tread?

CCP has come a long way from years ago with there multiple day down times for patches. Servers going down two hours after a patch. They have there act together mostly and are doing a great job! LolLol

Yes exacly... im not pvp anymore due my 60 mil clones + implants ect = 120 mil isk 0.o
