Most desolate place in EvE ?

Is there a way to know which solar systems are the most populated, and which are the most devoid of activity ?

I've found a few systems where you usually find between 3 and 5 pilots at peak times, but are there really inhabited systems in EvE ? Considering the size of New Eden it may be possible.

Have anyone ever been to the "end" of the map ?

There are certainly plenty of areas in nullsec where you will be completely alone. In fact the majority of nullsec is near empty.

The most desolate place in EVE would be the empty space between the ears of some EVE players.

More specifically those who don't read CSM notes and don't pay attention to Devs when they say "This idea is not set in stone" and then go and rage on the forums about how CCP is killing the game.

On topic, there are an awful lot of low sec systems that are empty 90% of the time. As long as you avoid gate camps you can be zooming round for days without coming across a single person.

You will be very much alone in a Wormhole without a spawned static. VERY much alone.

Or are you....

I was to the "end" of the map, twice. The only dangerous parts are transitions between hi-sec > low-sec / null sec and occasional bubbles which can be easily avoided with both eyes closed (don't warp directly from gate to gate and fit cheap cloak).

About if there are totally deserted places, I think so, but sometimes someone jumps through. You can monitor every system by pressing F10 and selecting "Ship destroyed in 24" or "Jumps in last hour" or "Active pilots in space" etc.

They're not whining about it on the forums because they think it's set in stone, they complain about it so the devs can get their opinion of the changes and modify them accordingly or make them realize that it's a bad idea.

OT: As said before, just check dotlan. Null or low tend to usually be pretty empty.

Yeah, outer ring is a ******* ghost town.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

True, for high sec Khanid is pretty empty.

Because staying quiet where CCP will mistake it for acceptance, after which said idea (which generally tend to be terrible, the fact that it even made it to idea status already says enough) will then be implemented is the smart thing to do. Right?

Depends on your definition of empty. The quietest space will be lowsec far from major shortcuts / high-null routes. Those are the truly dead systems.
