How to not fit a Tengu

Do not fit your Tengus this way.

Guy died in 36 seconds. First probed by my friend tackled by me and supp with Cane.
But i must admit da*m fast he was!

It's a decent fit when you have full HG crystals & a boosting alt. I'm guessing he had neither.

that's actually a very good fit.
it doesnt play well with cane neuts and loki webs at point blank range tho, obviously.

No my Loki isn't Rapier clone, but do neuts. I will say no more.

That's realy not a bad tengu fit. Granted the pilot was pants on head R E T A R D E D because he let you 1: scan him down, and 2: catch/kill him with a loki w/o a web sub.

Nobody should fly the 100mn tengu unless they really know what they are doing. They can be nasty in the right hands, but quite difficult to get use to.

After Garmon started using them, everybody else decided they could do it too. :p

But yeah as mentioned above, the guy must not have been playing on the advantages of the fit. Entire point is to long range kite. The 100mn AB gives you a huge speed advantage when mounted on a cruiser hull and it can run forever. You don't have to worry about the problem of having your mwd disabled. With the fuel cat subsystem it really shows its strengths.

Turns like a damn brick though.

I also think he could have done OK replacing a lot of those modules with less expensive tech2.

Thats are my old Lokis fittings and i've learned much since i lost them.
First of all its possible to build 450 DPS cloaky Loki with 93k EHP and max velocity @ 2000m/s. Cool

Actually you are right but in that case he didn't have any chances for escaping as Loki is cloaky with web.

If the pilot didn’t even have the skills for t2launchers, he had no place flying that tengu.

Anyway, like others pointed out, there’s nothing wrong with the fit per se, the problem is the pilot. Looks like he’s a multiboxer miner created in 2010 so he has at least 15millon SP in mining, that leaves all the combat skills at lvl4... definitely not enough for a superhero 100mn tengu. I can bet you his support skills were terrible too, both for missiles, ab, targeting, scram/web and subsystems.

But, that said, that tengu costs maybe 20 hours of mining... he can easily lose one of those a week before caring. If he had the skills and fit some more t2, he could lose half a dozen or so.

Point being, that looks crazy expensive to some.
