Problem with SISI client on a 27" imac

I have a 27" iMac with 3.4 i7, 16gb, Radeon 6970M 1024mb

Sisi was working on this machine two or three days ago.

Yesterday i had trouble starting SiSi so I had to force quit.

When I restarted, it patched, and when the patch was over, I pressed PLAY - and got a window filled with white, and nothing else.

I tried repairing the disk, permissions etc, but it wouldnt start.

I deleted the whole directory, and restarted from Test_EVE_Online_rev2_1.zip - 5.89gb download later - same result.

I took a working installation from my mac mini. ( tar cf sing.tar Test\ EVE\ Online.app )
copied it across and unpacked it.
restarted machine
tested - same result.

It could be a fault on this machine I guess, so would be interested to hear from anyone with the same problem, or the same machine without the problem.

Any suggestions welcome.

This machine does run the tranquility EVE client ok.
