Sigh. Makes you feel like a tard, doing all the hard work separating people from their stuff in space and risking ships when you can find idiots, even after all these years of scamming, who will actually willingly give isk away.

Only that, especially if you've been playing with the same group of people for several years, you are not anonymous at all. And I think that applies to many EVE players, so your premise is often not correct here.

I gave 50 Veldspar as my security deposit. Was promised that I'd recieve 500 back after being vetted.

Never saw it again.

Now I have to buy a mining laser to go find more Veldspar as I prematurely ejected it in exchange for asplode lasers.

Worst EVE Experienece Ever.

If you paid isk to get into GoonSwarm, you were probably scammed.  If you had the foresight to save the name of your scammer, let me know and I'll do what I can to help you.

Actually the fact that you admit that your members scam is enough. It's really terrible that in general you are all such bad people that scamming is the only thing you can do to make money. Perhaps if you were normal, you actually try to work with people, build some bonds and everyone would profit together.

But of course, that would take ethics, perhaps something most of you do not have in RL either.

simple fix.

take one of the names in the op scammers list and when a goons recruitment scammer comes long. let him interview you and then a day later tell him why aint your app been accepted.
when he says but you aint paid you drop the name from the list and say you paid him

with luck it will start internal fights :P

Here is another one;

Have them believe you want to join them.

Let them see billions worth of assets.

Have them bring jump freighters to pick up your stuff.

Have Friends, hired Mercs, and former victims of their scams wait for the jump freighters to arrive. Blow up the freighters and every Goon you see...

NOT EASY......... BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

No doubt they have a lot of friends and members, but they sure as hell have a lot of ennemies considering their behaviour in the past years.

This is a nice story... but in a real life interview your leader said point blank, "Goons to not recruit in game; they don't need to. The last things goons need is more members. if you see a goon recruitment ad it is a scam."
