And accelerating to 3 AUs? how much G is that? Lol

None. We aren't accelerating, we're accelerating the local spacetime fabric to facilitate 'movement'.

I am a physicist. I saved my sanity by shutting down my brain every time I try to think about eve and physics. I recommend all of you in this thread to stop while you still can, turn away, and never look back.

We ( Mordus Angels) sometimes let a tub of water loose in the "loops" , and crank it up a G or two
for some epic station surfing.

You think eve is in space, there's your problem.

EVE is underwater, it is the only way it makes sense.

space-water.

Ever hear of the 5-g chickens?

Someone wanted to study the effects of low gravity on the development of animals. But getting low gravity for long periods is quite expensive (must be in space). But getting increased gravity is easy, just use a centrifuge.

So they put some chicken eggs in a 5-g centrifuge and grew them to adulthood. They had smaller upper bodies and very thick legs, but seems to be just fine. They were quite strong for chickens due to the need to cope with their environment.

So obviously those lower, high g areas are for growing super soldiers for ground troops.

In CCP's grand quest to create the largest "Space Simulator" they overlooked a pretty significant detail.

And this station in question... Is it in orbit around a planet? Is that planet in orbit around, say, a star?

Wait...don't we have artificial gravity?

New Eden isn't another star cluster, it's a pocket universe with its own laws of physics.

That would actually explain a lot.
