A workaround might be to access the document via a shortcut specify the "start in" directory as the location where you want the eveIMMS directory to live if different from the documents location.

There not excel files there Open Office files

Which Spreadsheet program are you using to open the files ?

Buttons and macro's wont work in Excel

You need to use Open Office to open them and follow instructions about granting macro permission as stated in the op.

Thanks for updating these, your spreadsheets were directly responsible for getting me to try out manufacturing.

I think the "Unable to download XML data from EVE-Central" error is due to a path issue. I moved your (uber) sheets in a my /Documents/EVE/something subdir, created the EveMMS links pressing the Purchase&Buy button but I had that error trying to fetch prices by the Eve-Central button. Now I moved the sheets in /myself/Documents (where the EveIMMS dir is located) and I have no error shown, prices are applied correctly in the "Buy" page so it looks like being fixed.....but I don't see anything in the Eve_central one. Not a major problem but having all those fields in the Eve-Central tab/page referring to the buy/sell orders filled up with data could be useful.

I don't know how hard it is fixing the path issue but I'd like to be able to move them in a different path than /myself/Documents. That dir is full of stufff you know

Anyway...... thanks for sharing the love for spreadsheets

I'm getting this error as well, but i am using OO and using version 1.4 of your spreadsheets.

I seem to be able to pull data with the ammo/module/etc files but not the template files.

I put in about 34 item IDs and it throws the above error around the 20th ID.

I get the same error when I copy the list of type IDs I want into the top of the T1 spreadsheet, but runs fine when I don't change anything.

I have not tried doing a download with the template sheet ( This is a partially constructed sheet for accepting data from SQL dumps for custom sheets )
IF the download does work then a couple of notes.

ID's are put into a HTML request that goes to the EVE-Central server.
Make sure there are no formatting character in the number no ( , or . ) thousands seperators or deimal points.
Numbers must consist of the characters 0123456789 and nothing else.

Also check your type ID's 1 at a time to make sure they are valid id's

ID's are sent in batches of 20 If your getting back the first data set then it could be any value in the second set of 20 causing the corruption.

Make sure there is no spurious text of anykind in the rows after the typeid's finish
I would delete all rows after the last number , just to make sure there are no cells with spaces in or anything like that
