An in-game channel, Buy A Buddy, has been created to connect you with rookies who would like to subscribe to Eve Online.

We all know the difficulties inherent in the Buddy invitation forum thread. We all fight to be seen and make our post the best. The rookie player has no way to tell if an a poster is still active. The labyrinth of posts is daunting. What if someone posts but their name is not in the OP, original post?

The Buy a Buddy channel will link to verified posts in the Buddy invites and rewards from other players forum in its MOTD. A player who would like to get a 21 day invite can ask for one in-game. Anyone who responds is obviously active and can answer questions concerning the invite process. The rookie player can then send an email to the address listed on these forums, knowing he will get a quick response, and we as invitees will not waste quite so many invites, hopefully. If the channel is empty of players at the moment, the MOTD still shows who is actively sending invites.

An additional perk will be your name listed in the Note to Rookies as a verified inviter with a link to your OP. This list will be updated once a week.

To have your thread verified to be linked in the MOTD you must do two things:

First send an email to DoctorSnackwell@Yahoo.com from the email in your original post (OP). Subject line: Buy A Buddy Verification. In the email give the link to your original post and the name of the toon in that post.

The second thing to do is to send Dr Snackwell a message in-game from the toon in your OP. Subject line: Buy A Buddy Verification. In the EVEmail give the link to your original post. I will verify that the details match and add that toon to the MOTD. To get the link of your OP, go to it and left click the yellow post number in the upper left hand corner. Then copy and paste the URL.

In order to make sure that inviters are still active, a quick email or EVEmail each month will keep your name in the MOTD. If your name is to be linked for the month of October, I must have received a mail from you in the previous month September.

This is what I you need to do:

After you have created a new account from the buddy invite I send you, you need to log in to EVE Onlilne and create a new character. Once that is done, send an EVEmail to my character Tiamet Cordova
After that subscribe and ill have your isk to you immediatly (usualy within minutes) (be sure to reply to the email once youve been subscribed. Im generally available around the clock to send your isk!)
