We have a corp mate stuck in J114055. He is a fairly new player. I will pay for access to an entrance to this system as long as it is not too far from Providence region.

if he is farily new he shouldnt be in anything expensive so why not pod himself home?

This is a good time to remind all players that traveling in wormholes can be dangerous, and that equipping a probe launcher is a good way to prevent getting stuck.

Basically, OP, you know we won't hold your hand in getting your corp-mate (read alt) out of a bind. You wrongfully assume we'll do it for money, "it" being the aforementioned hand-holding. Accept the hard lesson and pod yourself. Bob will be pleased and you'll have taken the first step - one of many, mind you - on your march of self-immolation toward becoming a true wormholer.

Honestly, only reason I'd bother it's because it's a c 2 / c4 with an highsec exit.

Not to troll, but if you want someone to actively scan out that wormhole and find your friend you will have to accept whatever exit is given and pay them for such. Otherwise, the effort to look for lost/stuck players is too great and you'd be better off just self destructing your pod back to Empire. I hope to Bob that their clone is up to date.

Not even counting that your friend can get podded in the way out by the helpers. You paying and getting scammed or you dont paying at all after being helped ou, which would start a wich hunt thatyou would want to biomass just to avoid it. Lots of angry ppl in whs.

Seriously, can we have a rule against posting "looking for a way in/out of Jxxxxxx?" These pop up every single day, and they always end up in trolls and flames. There are like 2500 wormholes. The likelihood of anyone, (much less someone who reads these forums and can actually understand English) running into the wormhole you were stupid enough to get stuck in is extraordinarily low.

At the very least, can we get a sticky where we can just dump all these requests?

Oh, and by the way, there ended up being some very nice folks in the wormhole who have become friends with our corp and alliance.

Amount of such threads here is surprizing. Are there really any people that actually recieved any help this way instead of getting themselves podded by rescuers (granted, it's still a help to get out of WH... of sorts...)?

Wait wrong spot for that...but I agree, these posts will always appear, just like those grav sites when you want a WH. Hit next, move on...and if you recognize the system name start looking in local for a newb to pod.
