Yes. CCP is buffing the tank on mining ships, and thus the only form of PvP in Eve is being removed. There's no reason to play anymore except to troll the forums. Sad

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Unfortunatly EvE is not dieing. Turns out she was actually pregnant. And Last night gave birth to a beutiful baby boy, called Gerald.

If you ask any forums, every MMO is dying since it's inception. I've been playing this game for just over a month, and it's quite fun. People are raging about nothing, I come over to the forums to laugh.

It's a constant game of cat and mouse on the month that I have been, mostly lurking, on this forum. CCP fixes one thing, users find another to complain about. I, personally, love the game as it is now- everything from the goons and pirates to AFK miners. The game is fun, and people want to fix what ain't broke.

Sure, some people have their own taste, and out of the tens and thousands of people playing this game, there WILL be opposing views. And that's where you're getting all this rage from.

EVE isn't dying. Also, keep in mind that many kids are out for the summer- meaning that general population of the game will be less. Someone posted a link to http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility , which has graphs of players on the server. Check that instead of flamers in the forums trying to tell you why this great game is dying.

If anything, I would like a storyline behind this game. I have no reason to fight Caldari as it stands now- I want a story to encourage me to do that. But whatever, some people will not like this idea, others will, each to his own in the end.

To answer your question Nicky, no EVE is not dead, nor is it dying. And the UI is still here because it is getting fixed. Also welcome back.

If you read the Chronicles you'll probably find a bunch reasons to hate the Caldari. Like that time Caldari terrorists sabotaged the dome of a Gallente underwater city, pretty much killing everyone. Or that other time a Caldari Admiral flew his carrier into the atmosphere of a Gallente planet - blowing it up and killing even more people...
