From my time of playing around with several online games. I always see a variety of gaming forums who would form coalitions of blobbers like you see of the famous Something Aweful(Goonswarm Federation) and Reddit(TEST alliance please ignore)

but as far as I can see, there isn't any

LUE alliance from gamefaqs or its sattelite wannabe LUE forum.
/b/ alliance from 4chan
genmay alliance from the general mayhem forums
nor even a Fark Alliance from Drew Curtis' FARK

I'm sure having some of these blobbers could make eve politics more fun since they could actually bring numbers and
organization(with the exception of /b/ lol..) to eve if they could ever mature ofcourse.

But I am just surprised they are not here. Especially with eve politics with GSF(SA) being one of the biggest players. Saw LUE at least attempt to counter Something aweful in many games i've played.

though this is only my curiosity.


tl;dr : Why arn't there more Gaming/massive forum alliances/coalitions like how we see Something aweful as GSF and Reddit as TEST

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

4chan's anonymity guarantees a limited unified presence in any video game.

Fark is alive and well enough, but the average user is about 20 years older than the average PC gamer.

Why are we even talking about Lue or genmay in the Year Of Our Lord 2012?
