14 already. That's 60 battleships or 200 Drakes. Join to create and industrial core able to support a standing, reimbursed battleship fleet.

In on page two.

I'll join for a 25b security deposit, to be returned at a later date.

It's quite easy to recruit AWOX alts, to be fair. You just need to make a blog where you insult everyone for being stupid (whilst simultaneously making massive, massive errors) and then post that you have a corp with an open recruitment policy.

Bingo.

Actually, I am impressed by how well Gevlin is protecting himself from AWOXers. You can join and spy if you like, but you won't likely be making off with any money from the corp wallet. And for now no fleets to hot drop.

Pretty much judgement-proof. It's just a shell corp for alts at the moment, but with the best seat in the house for the show and free popcorn.

He's not, but keep thinking that.

He has a very limited game knowledge and likes to vastly overplay himself, two things that in EvE set you up for a big fall.

bump, I guess.

It's not a terrible idea in theory, make them longer so you travel further at MWD speeds under cloak, but like all his ideas, he will theory-craft the answer having never tested any related mechanic and then claim it absolutely will work.

In practice, one cycle of non-lengthened MWD will put you far enough away from your origin to avoid an aimed decloak, so the major risk point is someone being more agile than you; fit for agility not straight line speed / burn time.

On the other hand, my schadenfreude wants to see him at least get established enough to fall hard, and not just cull the venture and have him blog about it being the fault of "morons and slackers."

I'm slightly conflicted.

Based on his history of confident plans and their subsequent abandonment, I make that likelihood at >99%.

He's most certainly all ISK'd up with nowhere to go, and my guess is that he never will.

bump for an interesting plan

(too bad the last few blog posts read like "didn't want to go to 0.0 anyways" rationalizations)

Well his latest post is "I can't understand why people are playing this game to have fun" and non-ironically suggests "hardcore" players go play WOW.

He is of course, right: if you want to massively-asperger your raid efficiency to the smallest percentile then you will only find people willing to no-life it that far in WOW. EvE does have the ability to account for casual players and I struggle to see that as a bad thing. His hours and hours a day of play is non-typical.

Based on this, what needs to happen is Gevlon needs to make this work, take some sov, and then have TEST come and take it from him. Only the most spammy of their members, too.

I'd love to see him handwave that away.

Yet another confidently proposed, yet nonsense, idea abandoned by the great Goblin. Corp disbanded.

I believe I had that. ::bow::
