Salvaging skill.

What does it increase ? Change to salvage wreak or chance to get salvage from the wreak? Or does it increase both. I probably written it very confusing but if someone understood that question i would be really thankful for explanation.

The chance for successful access.

The amount of salvage is predetermined when the wreck is created and nothing will change that.

Essentially every time your salvager cycle it rolls a die to see if you successfully access the salvage. Let say this die will give you access if ti lands on a green side and doesn't if you land on a black one. What the skill does is simply add more green sides if that makes sense :D

(Disclaimer: this does not mean that the chances are based on 1/6th nor does the skill increase chances by 1/6th, the die was simply a representation of the mechanic)

There's a little more to it that that.

- Level 3 Salvage

Grants the ability to salvage Tech II or faction ships

- Level 4 Salvage

Grants the ability to salvage Sleeper Battleships

Note that salvage tackle rigs will stand in for a level in salvaging. As such you can salvage sleeper BS with salvaging 1 if you've also 3 salvage tackle rigs.

Is Salvage LVL 5 required for T2 Salvagers, Can't remember...

Yes u need salvage 5 for t2 versions of it.
