While you can fleet up with people running missions for Caldari Navy and receive standing increases with that corp, there is no way to fleet up and gain faction standing increases unless you are the one accepting the storyline mission. Faction standing increases from storyline missions do not share at all. Regular (non-storyline missions) only give agent and corp standing increases.

Have OP taking the missions. Works like a charm.

IIRC, you can start the epic ark with standing for both - caldari faction or expert distribution.
