Simple request about turrets.

This is a very simple request. Nothing to major. Nothing game breaking.

All I want is the turrets and missile bays to LOOK bigger to fit the ships.

Right now turrets on a battleship look like toys. Seriously they are soooooo small.

Battleships are suppose to have huge guns or atleast 5x the size they are now.

I dont want changes in volume or anything I just want them to LOOK right.

Consdering that the ships are hundres of meters in length/width, the turrets seem about right to me. They should be tens of meters firing meter long projectiles.

Look at the guns on a Revelation [1], those are pretty massive. And then look at the Crusader [2], you can't make the turrets any bigger or they'd be bigger than the ship they're fitted on.

I never mentioned frigate or deadnaught here... I said specifically the Battleship! Also battlecruiser and maybe even the cruiser. These need size modifications.

As you said the Frigate and Dead look fine. In fact I laugh at my frigate because it is basically just a bunch or turrets flying in space. But I love it anyway.

The biggest problem is again the battleship down to cruiser that need size changes.

The guns aren't small, the ships are big.

Battleships would look ridiculous if they had guns nearly a quarter of a kilometer long.

The ships are fine... if anything I think it would make more sense to make them a little bigger. In the novels it says a frigate can house a group of about 4-5 with living areas and such. Almost the same as the Serenity from Firefly.

I really do think the turrets need to be bigger. They look ridiculous as they are.

most of the frigates are somewhere between the size of a 747 (rifter) and the size of a small office building (look at the maulis, or navatas) I think you could house 5 people in there comfortably.

A 747 is roughly 70m long. But you also need to keep in mind width as well.

The problem is the turrets on larger craft look horrible!

Turrets look fine. Make them any larger, especially on BS, and they would look silly and cartoonish.
