I'd say there would be more issues resulting in a divorce than just playing eve, makes a good excuse for the other party though.

Between me and my alts... far too much time. Im ironically with Chribba or worse on this one.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

Not all relationships work on manipulation and if they do: who says it's women doing the controlling? Blink

Also it's no a good idea to take a bad example and project it to the concept of relationships in general. It is entirely possible that you will be together with someone who wants to take over your life, while you are out, searching for your perfect partner. The trick is to acknowledge that this person is not for you and move on. A happy and balanced relationship is usually very rewarding, but if you don't try it you'll never know.

Of course relationships, at least in their early stages, tend to be time-consuming, mostly at the expense of gametime. But if the partner is right, you'll happily reduce your time spent in New Eden. Also it's not forever. Over the course of the first few months things will normalize and your corpmates will get used to seing your portrait again.

I couldn't have said this better. I'd like to 'like' this more than once.

Eve too complicated? Try Astrum Regatta.

Anyway, I manage around 2 hours in-game on a work day, and maybe 3-4 hours on a day off.

I bet you lied about the 3-4 hours. And about your soleness being a choice. What?

I work out at a job site and keep Eve running the majority of the day, I only go back to my "real" home on vacation; back when I use to herd cats, oh I mean play CEO, I use to be real busy, now I putter about around 60 hours a week and really play for about 8 hours a week.

Either manually using the API at https://api.eveonline.com/account/AccountStatus.xml.aspx?keyID=######&vCode=###### (snipped from earlier post) or you can add your API over at eveboard.com and it will keep track of things for you.

When i was a CEO it was sometimes 17 hours a day until i burned out. Then it dropped to the point where its been about 20 minutes in the last 3 months

three of my four accounts have lapsed and this one is dead in a few days. Im taking a break for six months and when i come back it will be much more sensible

Thanks for the help
