At the moment I've been just buying regular ammo, converting it into faction ammo, and selling it with a tiny bit of profit. So I'm sorta wondering; what's the best thing you can spend your Loyalty Points on if you're in it for pure profit...?

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

Get a spreadsheet. LibreOffice is opensource/free.
Check sell prices and material prices: http://eve-central.com/
LP Store database: http://www.ellatha.com/eve/LP_Stores.asp
and don't forget that Faction Warfare LP stores can get a significant discount (i.e. they're competition.)

Also, elbow grease.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

That's a great tip, but seems like a ton o' work. Any tips on what sort of item (Implants? Ammo?) that gives you the most ISK-to-LP ratio?

In general.

Last I checked this was out of date as of the last time CCP put LP store in the data dump. 2007 maybe? I can't remember.

You should double check a recipe is correct before investing it if you use that site.

Aww come on now. I just want to unload my Loyalty Points and get back to the pew-pew, not make a whole school project out of the thing. Straight

+5 implants then. Isk/LP won't be the best, but you will have no trouble moving (in both the logistic and market sense of the word) them.

FW is pretty stiff competition.

At T5 I can buy +5's for roughly 19k LP and 19mil ISK (not exact numbers there, could be lower). I think in normal LP stores they go for 65k LP and 65mil ISK.

Now, granted we only hit T5 once a week or so, during that time I plex - and it only takes me 20 minutes to earn enough LP for a +5.

20 minutes.

And I can earn 1 mil LP in 2-3 days.

How many Level 4's can you run in 3 days?

Pretty stiff competition.

Generally speaking, the LP items that are worth a lot of money are worth a lot of money because [supply is low, and supply is low because] not many people know about them.

In an ideal world where everyone was smart, all the items would have an identical LP/isk ratio. Meaning, of course, that in the real world™ there are a few items that are worth quite a bit.

The best conversion I have ever noticed was a few months ago. It almost made me want to run missions again. The cruor requires 20k LP and I think 10 million isk and was selling in Jita for 70 million isk ; that converts to 3,000 isk per LP - move to Delve.

smart people will not tell you what items they use because they do not want you to crash their market.
