Socket closed error, now client will not launch after repeated repairs.

As the title said, I got a socket closed error, couldnt reconnect, so I closed the client to restart, and instead of being able to restart, I

Have run repair tool, restarted, and run repair tool again. Still no joy

Is there anybody that knows why this is happening?

Have you already tried to clear the Launcher cache (just delete the cache folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\)?

this appears tohave fixed my problem.....had the same. repair didnt work either but clearing cache fixed it

What is this meant to fix? It does nothing to correct the rampant closed socket errors.

Is the team at CCP narrowing down the closed socket error issue?

This did fix my problem, thank you!
Took me to now to give up repairing for every new patch and launchin the Exe file to play, to remember I had posted here!
