I'm not able to get EVE running for 2 days....

Hi

I've been trying to get EVE running for a couple of days after I was given the error message that the files are corrupt/damaged/modified.

I've run EVE repair but it didn't work. Then I uninstalled and downloaded the set-up file again... but i get the same.

I've tried using the offline setup but it makes no difference.

The launcher starts the validates the client..... on step 3/4 i get the notification "An error occurred while applying patch, the launcher will now try to apply the patch safely with raised privileges" I have run the client as administrator and not.

I then get "Unable to apply patch. It is recommended that you restart your computer and run the EVE online launcher again"

Ive tried rebooting and nothing changes

Any advice would be appreciated

Ok....

Ive updated my graphics drivers, windows updates and checked for viruses and malware.

Ive turned off my antivirus and firewall

And ive run everything in administrator mode.

Im running windows 7 home premium 64 and noting had changed on my pc in the last couple of days.

I dont know what else to try or how to contact someone at CCP to resolve as it seems unless they spot it on here im on my own, my toon is about to stop training and im paying for a game I cant play

Ive bypassed the launcher file by going to the ExeFile.exe and its let me straight in........ just as the weekend finishes....nice

Im still unable to patch eve.... how do you get technical support ......

The easiest way is to file a petition via the support website.
