A Vengeance would probably have a hard time completing L3 missions due to its lack of DPS. You would be much better off with a Harbinger or something in the Cruiser/Battlecruiser catagory.

So... this fits:

[Vengeance, epic arc]
Ballistic Control System II
Small Armor Repairer II
Ballistic Control System II
Adaptive Nano Plating II

Experimental 1MN Afterburner I
Stasis Webifier II
Target Painter II

Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Rocket
Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Rocket
Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Rocket
Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Rocket
[empty high slot]

Small Bay Loading Accelerator II
Small Warhead Flare Catalyst I

Harbinger would be better, but this would probably do L3s without much trouble.

I can pilot a lot ships that can do level 3 and 4 missions with ease...it's more fun to do them with ships that provide more of a challenge Big smile

Zhilla, thank you...I'm running to that fit...but with more faction gear....

...cap recharger in lieu of the TP, Caldari Navy Launchers, and a Corpii repper.

Trying to open up cap to get an energy vampire in the last high slot.

I do lvl 3's, and the ocassional 4 (although it's slow) in a Hawk being primarily industrial trained (lvl 4'ish skills in most of the combat stuff), so if you're properly skilled for an AF would only be easier.

4 light missile launchers
small shield booster, three cap rechargers (just to be cap stable, can switch for ECCM or sensor booster and pulse), 1mn ab
2 ballistic control units
rigs whatever you prefer (I boost the dps, but I know some hate the EM hole and prefer to plug it)

Speed tank/kite at around 30-40 klicks (or anything above 15k is generally the only get hit by the occassional missile zone) is the mainstay (99% of npc's can't touch you), booster helps to get through the brief occassions when webbed, although the frigates die in a volley or two so no real worries there. The web towers at over 50k can be an annoyance, but that's why missiles and not rockets.

As I understand it Vengeance is basically the same boat just armor tanked. So take the same concept and just alter it a bit. In lvl 3 it cruises through with only the tankier bc's taking more than a few volleys, actually ungrouped weapons to down frigs quicker (a lot will die to 1 or 2 missiles so clearing them 4 at a time makes more sense to me). In 4's well the battleships are slow, but they can't touch you, so it's just a patience thing.

If your a rocket fan same concept works just keep the orbits to around 2.5k and maybe add a nano as closer in speed counts more (and be prepared for the charge at stasis towers). I'd practice on 3's before moving to 4's (there's a pair of missions I don't remember the names of where the tank almost broke on me), although if you lose one you could probably replace it from top to bottom for under 50m. Haven't lost one yet.

All in all if you like killing big things in a tiny thing, the assault frigate is top of the game IMO.
