Hi there guys, I love watching stuff explode and I think non-eve players probably do too.

I've started a Reddit post in the hopes of sharing the wonderful explosions of the Alliance Tournament with the r/gaming community.

I was hoping that the EVE community at large would be willing to lend me a hand in pushing this link to the front page: http://bit.ly/LE0Ys3

Everyone who isn't watching can also tune in for championship Sunday, and watch some of the top alliances in eve online reducing each other to hulking scraps of metal.

Shouldn't we have pushed for the AT weeks ago instead on the final day - even after the matches have started? lol

Alliance tournament footage:

- Names beside white boxes that slowly turn red.
- Unintelligible symbols beside names blinking on and off.
- Blue and red squares moving around a grid with a space picture behind it.
- Two yahoos blathering nonsense about the blue and red squares
- Occasional shot of what might be a spaceship wobbling in and out of focus


Do you honestly think a non-EVE player would find this in any way an enticement to play the game? I love PVP but I won't torture myself by sitting through watching someone else do it via fuzzy boring videos.

No: the worst thing you can do for a non player is show them the actual game. Stick with the promo vids.

Won't touch anything that has to do with Reddit or SA, expecting being infected by all kinds of bullshit by default. And no, I'm not talking about my PC's software, more worried about my sanity. P

You should've posted it on EVE-O directly, then linked to that in Reddit or whatever. And what Chribba or whoever posted above, should've been done long ago, bit late to do at that point.

That being said, you're kinda cute.

Tournament was not worth it this year,

1. stream was crappy, luckily it worked somehow on last day

2. last years winners were not allowed to join ( no matter who won they are were not competing against last years winners so....)

3. Sad part was that many matches had unexplained bugs that affected results. No one mentioned about those in stream.

also i felt sad when commentator were saying how awesome FW is after inferno. Truth is that there is no many happy pvpers in FW only reason why people may be happy is that you can grind **** loads isk with 1 day alts in there. FW still has lot of old bugs and lot of new bugs, and i afraid that when goon commentator says it is fine (maybe exploiting 50b lp is fine), those bugs will stay several years again.

Whole tournament is CCP propaganda machine to tell clear lies to player about how awesome game is.

You are saying that fw pv is good but still you say that you hate the basic mechanic of FW.
