NPC Corporate Uniforms

NPC Corporation Uniforms would be designed in conformity with each NPC corporation. A pilot could purchase the Uniform and then wear it for as long as they are part of the NPC Corporation. Once they leave the NPC Corporation they could either continue to wear the NPC Corporate Unifrom or they could sell it back to the NPC Corporation Second Hand Store to receive ISK for it.
NPC Corporate Uniforms could be purchased with AUR, ISK or Clothing Allowance Tokens from the NPC Corporate Store where where various NPC Corporate Uniform designs are available. NPC Corporate Uniforms could be sold on the market.

Corporation Uniforms

Creating Player Corporate Uniforms would be done in the same manner that medals are created except that the corp member creating the uniform would need to have the appropriate skills in order to use the Corporate Clothes Design Module. A pilot corporation would also have to purchase a Corporate Clothes Design Module to add to their corporate tabs . A corporation patch would then be stitched over the right breast showing corporate loyalty. The corporate patch would come from the corporation logo or it could be left off. Corporate ranking could also be added as well as name tags all of which would be part of the Corporate Clothes Design Module. Corporate Unifroms would be purchased directly from the corporation itself. Upon leaving a corporation the pilot could sell their uniform back to the player corporation for ISK. Otherwise the corporate uniform would not be able to be worn by the pilot unless they are part of the corporation itself nor would it be able to be sold on the market or through contracts.

Alliance Uniforms could also be created in the same manner where an Alliance Logo could be added as well.

Faction Warfare Uniforms

Faction Warfare uniforms would be a requirement to purchase once the pilot or corporation signed up for the militia of their choice.

Each militia would have a base design following the below patterns

Gallente - Grey and light Grey mix - boots would be black
Minmatar - Rusty Brown with light red mix - boots would be grey
Caldari - Black all around - black boobs
Amarr - Rusty Red with light brown mix - boots would be dark blood red.

Purchasing Faction Warfare Uniforms would be done by using non-militia loyalty points. Example: A pilot joins the Gallente Faction War. The pilot then uses their loyalty points that they have with Gallente to purchase their first Gallente Militia Uniform.
Each Uniform would also have the ability to have rank added to their uniform that when the pilot ranks up through the faction war system they would be a special chit that they could then purchase their rank from the militia faction store with using either faction LP, AUR or ISK.

The great thing about players creating their uniforms is that a new skill area would open up called Uniform and Patches.

Once learned to certain levels the player would be able to enter into a NPC station and access the Clothing Manufacturing center and begin to design their clothes in the same manner that medals are designed. These articles of clothing would then be sold on the market for pilots to purchase for ISK or AUR or specialized Clothing Allowance Tokens that would be rewarded by mission agents, found in exploration sites or randomly awarded in ship drops.

This new skill area would open a new era for EvE Online where missions involving transporting the fabric to and from stations as well as researching various fabrics and techniques to create the clothes.

The fabric would be obtained from the Planetary Interaction by adding a new module that would harvest various components that go into creating clothes. Fabric could also be awarded through mission agents, exploration sites as well as from random drops.

The word piltos when you come across it is pronounced Pill-Toes or Pill-Toss and is actually the word Pilots of which I have not mastered the skill of typing yet.

i have to say i do like the idea of a corporate or alliance uniform or preferably both that you can have a standard tmeplate on then be able to create rank insignias and be able to pin your medals on it ( a cap on the ammount of medals would probably be nessesary)

tbh id rather have payed the same amoutn of aurum for a monocle is now for a uniform that we could get one of hte artists to design for us at CCP with input from us then have it put into the game in a quick patch or something.

Thanks for the reply Tiger Claw.

Having NPC,Corporate, Faction Warfare and Aliiance Uniforms distinguishes the corps from each other even more than just having standard clothes to wear which makes the corporation seem a bit "unrefined".

I was also thinking that Alliance Touranments should have their own uniforms as well to further distinguish the Tournament Pliots from the rest of the capsuleers.

Tournament winners should also receive a special Croix de Tournament similar to the Croix de Guerre.

Croix de Guerre

I also think that CCP needs to make various dress and casual uniforms available.

A dress uniform would allow the capsuleer to display the more prestigious medals in their collection while the casual uniform would allow the capsuleer to display all of their medals in the form of ribbons.

Not only would wearing uniforms be fun for each capsuleer it would also create a new market where corporations could create their own brand of clothing and then sell it on the market.

Which would neccessite creating new missions involving clothing manufacturing and procurement.

Here is a link to an image that shows some basic patterns that could be available for the player to design their own uniforms from.

I agree with the general idea of having NPC corp uniforms, as well as the option to design uniforms for player corps and alliances, and with the idea of being able to attach medals as wearable items.

However, the idea of making someone unable to wear their uniform after they leave a corp or alliance strikes me as undesirable and probably unnecessarily complicated.

Leave Aurum out of it entirely, for the same very obvious reasons why aurum should be left out of everything entirely.

Apart from that, this:

Whether or not you win the game matters not.  It's if you bought it.

I was doing some searching and found a few websites that could be used as a pattern for the in game Clothing Creation Center.

Create Your Clothes 1

Create Your Clothes 2

Create Your Clothes 3

Create Your Clothes

The last site is my favorite and is exactly the idea that I was shooting for with the in game Clothing Creation Center. It functions similar to how the medal creator works.

Obviously the EvE Clothing Creation Center would have EvE Online related base article of clothing where you click on a certain area of the article of clothing to add the embellishment.

I think if CCP added such a Clothing Creation Center more people would enjoy playing EvE as it would give everyone the ability to uniquely and artistically distinguish theirself from the rest of community.

Such a Clothing Creation Center would also put that little MMORPE known as WoW in its place again.

CCP better hurry before the WoWite Trolls find this post and incorporate it into WoW.

CCP haz found daz WoW and we will winz. MEOWZ.

Goblins and Trollz....Pah.

Not certain if this is correct Internet Textology or not but I thought I would give it a try.
