Well I mission there as well and as it happens in a CNR, I would not want to be mistaken for a bot. Lol As you ask though try looking anywhere in Blackrise esp Uuhulanen.

Go to Nibainkier 0.7 right now, you'll see 4 guys, in the same corp, Prokopoff. They all started the same day, and they are on pretty much 23/7. They don't have names, they have combos of letters and numbers instead and in sequence.

They are bots. I'll post their names if you like.

Although like I say I could be wrong, but this is what makes me and others who have reported them think they are bots. Just to clarify I am talking about what I beleive are mission bots.

Exumers you could bump and see if there's no reaction. Still could be AFK miner, not bot. But you mentioned mission bot. That's something else....

I have seen angry ninjas accuse mission runners of being bots because the mission runners didn't fall for the trick and didn't shoot back. Ignoring the ninja is not the same as being a bot.

Can you tell me more info on the ones you spotted (no names of course, forum-friendly info)

Don't have much more info to tell on top of what I have already provided, other than they all seem to fly CNR's which is annoying as they require more players to gank over Tengu's (I think, I am no ganking expert).

When a few of us decided to try and scan them down in missions and trigger all the spawns and then bump their CNR's to death before it could warp we noticed this was not easy as they all seemed to be blitzing the easier level 4 missions. This meant by the time a fleet member had scanned them out (someone who is good at scanning) the CNR's were usually already leaving the pocket. The odd time we did catch one because of the mission and lack of rats in the missions they choose to run the plan would not of worked anyway.

Your mate suck at scanning. But you are on the right track tho... You just have to:

1. Scan faster (tip... ship id will be the same)
2. Steal the mission item.

Will try harder always room for improvement. I can assure you my mate is quick to scan them out and we know the ID will always be the same . The mission item sounds interesting how does that work? I am not sure that the missions they are choosing to run have an item to steal I will investigate that further though.

I'm not familiar with the region so I can't tell you from the top of my mind which missions have mission item. But the way you do this is by checking the rats and the mission collidables...

This page could be of great help...

Even if there's no mission item, you could kill the rats and deny them the bounties.

If you are willing to lose a ship, neut them to cap death. Then the rats will finish them off.

This man speaks truth. A Neut-Domi should suffice if done at the right time.

Yep. They'll dock up when a ganker appears in their system that is on their list and stay docked until the ganker leaves.

So all that is needed is for someone to make a gank alt, get on their list, then afk camp the system 23/7?

So how would you "really" know they're bots and not just some random guy multiboxing 4 to 9 accounts using isBoxer?

My associates informed it might be the presence of probes what triggers the dock-up.

Can missions be multiboxed? I thought that was reserved for mining ops. Anyways, the sequential naming of the toons do raise some red flags. If my prober is correct and probes are the trigger, that would explain why others had trouble scanning them down. It seems a job for a few unknown toons, some clever positioning, directional scan and some triangulation....and some very fast ninja probing (probes out / scan / bookmark / probes back in).

On the pro side... system has only one station and is about 16au wide.

They could be bots, in which case I would think CCP would deal with them.

That said, a lot of what people think are bots are actually multiboxers. With the help of multiboxing software such as ISBoxer you can control a LOT of accounts at once without breaking a sweat.

As far as I am aware, multiboxing and multiboxing software is completely legal in terms of game rules.

Anyway just my two cents.

CCP will do bans in waves and reverse all assets created by botting, so in the long run it doesn't matter (unless you take into account legitamate wealth created by botted wealth). In the short run, yes it sucks

Already done, I mentioned them to someone else in local and they also confirmed that they had also reported them serveral times over. It seems to be falling on deaf ears, unless it just takes a very long time to investigate them?

It's well known that reports are acted upon instantly by CCP, they just start throwing magic space salt about where the reported bots are and they shrivel up.

Is it still ban-able if you have another computer with the bot program use your EVE computers mouse and keyboard? Pirate
