I just pray with these friggin name changes I don't lose more hardwirings. Last time you guys monkeyed around with changing hardwiring names 1 of my gunnery hardwirings magically disappeared out of my clones head. I petetion it and of course I do not get reimbursed, so please before you go tinkering around with these things make damn sure you don't screw us over like you did to me when you changed the gunnery hardwirings awhile back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about the rest of the community but I am tired of things disappearing because you want to make changes......

Awesome!

This was exactly what was needed (in my opinion) to make implants accessible to people that are getting into them for the first time. I know some of my corpies are (/were) having issues with it.

"Blood Raiders" is written as "bloodraider" in the Talisman implants' description. My OCD feels this should be brought to the attention of CCP FoxFour's OCD.

Also, that's one sexy graph.

I am hearing allot of people complaining about how over powered ECM currently is (Falcons are a prime example) and how with the new frig chages it is only set to make it worse ( you will be able to take a squad of IBIS and jam out a opposing fleets logi, for less cost than using dedicated ECM ships).
I always thought that FOF missiles was supposed to be one of the effective counters to ECM, but sadly they are rather underpowered & ineffective rendering them some what useless.
Can FOF misslies get some love to restore them to be a effective counter to ECM?

With Hardwiring implants,
Is there any chance that in the future we could have the option to be able to unplug them & change them, without them being destroyed.
That would allow us the flexibilty to be able to change your implants to suit the occassion, ie use what hardwirings you feel are best suited for use with a particular ship and its role, rather than just having to change/destroy your hardwairings and losing isk in the process of trying to field what you feel is the best setup. Of course thou, if you were to be podded, I would still expect that what ever implants & hardwirings you were using would be destroyed.

Lastly, Is there any word on when we could expect to see some implants that effect Shield Capital bonuses, like slaves do for Armor Capital ships ?

Are you sure about that? Auto-targeting missiles (to use the new nomenclature) get less base damage, but have their own damage bonus above and beyond the base missile bonus.

The biggest issue I can see is that they are described as auto-target the closest aggressor, which is all very well until you consider what happens when my raven launches auto-targeting cruise missiles at nearby drones rather than the scorpion / blackbird / falcon / cloud of ibises 40km away.


On the subject of market categories, I find it odd that subsystems are sorted first by slot, then by race. IMO, it should be the other way around: if I'm fitting out a Legion, I have no particular interest in the Caldari or Gallente offensive subsystems.

Aren't Caldari supposed to have a large signature?

Personally, I think the missiles should still be called "FoF", as an acronym for "Fire on Friends." I quit using them, because when I run a site with 2 characters, they tend to shoot the other me...

There have also been cases where my FoF missiles have shot my own drones, who in turn then aggroed ME!

Is it possible that we could pay as much attention to how they work as we are about what they're named?

I'd like to point out something that I'm surprised hasn't bothered anyone else to my knowledge: Heavy Neutron Blaster is a medium gun while Neutron Blaster is a large gun...

Am I the only one who sees that as being backwards?

Yes, but this is a dangerous topic to bring up as CCP will come up with yet another naming scheme that makes just as little sense.

Sometimes, the quirks of EVE are OK to leave in-place.

Widow still says to have a bonus to Siege and Cruise missile launchers.

My first pass through launcher names was just trying to make them consistent with that they were already supposed to be. Before touching them more we are working to come up with a naming convention that is sane. I changed FOF and Assault missiles, didn't touch Torpedoes or Cruise missiles, or their launchers. Is that not the bonus the Widow gives?
