It is £2.49/month more than my unlimited* broadband connection which provides a good deal more/varied entertainment than Eve.

Now I'm not complaining about Eve costing £9.99/month, I'm simply giving you an example why people consider it expensive.

My question is this./....... Too many plex on the game CCP? ..... Maybe TOO MUCH ISK - because of bugs being allowed and ignored for far too long (fergel - FW - incursions - WH's)

1st make them moveable - so can be destroyed

2nd Bump the prices up

GG CCP you honestly just lost 6 accounts, granted paid with plex but still, this poor marketing combined with terrible customer support and even worse expansions is just NOT ACCEPTABLE anymore.

Spend less time sending stupid models up in the air tied to balloons, less time developing other FAIL games and focus on your core product. Maybe then and only then eve wont use the excuse "its a neiche" and actualy be a successful MMO.

What i find funny is this has been in place for over 2 months now and your only now complaining about it... So it obviously never really affected you in the first place. Besides who actually buys plex from CCP anyways when there are much cheaper options.

Making plex destructible and being able to move them was a great thing to add!

9.99 is not expensive on any level.

Sky Costs me over £35 a month and I play eve ALOT more than I watch tv.

1 plex does not = 1 month subscription

Yes, you can cash it in for one month's subscription if you want... but you can also sell it on the market for ISK too. It's probably also cheaper to buy a GTC and break it into 2 plexes and then sell them if you want to maximise your return.

1x uk sub = £9.99
1 x GTC in us sites = about £22 - £24 (this equals 2 plex remember)

so if anything its better now to pay with pounds for my accounts. (When i dont have the iskies)

Why anyone would buy a single plex from ccp at £17 is beyond me.

Plex cost more because they're legal gold buying.

You can redeem it and sell it on the market for half a billion ISK, it keeps people from buying gold from shady 3rd party sites and potentially getting scammed out of some RL cash.

Plex is worth the additional £7 a month for the peace of mind knowing that CCP doesn't have your debit card details with a mandate to use it however they see fit.

With the price of a pint of Estrella having gone up to £4.00 in my local, playing EvE and not going to the pub is certainly a cash saver for me.

The world doesn't revolve around you though and not everyone plays the game that much. £9.99 per mouth is expensive and CCP try to sweeten it with deals. This is the problem with companies now days, deals are the only thing that give the impression that their prices are cheap.



EVE's cost is relative as with everything else.

I can afford to 3 accounts with cash as well as 2 other MMO's that I currently play with cash, but I have alot of disposable income and a good paying job.

Someone else can make 10x as much income as me and think that EVE is overpriced and expensive.

Someone who plays EVE but doesnt have steady income would probably say that EVE is expensive.
Someone else who plays EVE and doesnt have steady income would probably say that EVE is cheap.

It's all relative.
