Excellent suggestion.

Being able to separate different data sets into at a glance windows makes sense for active pilots.

Upgrading Local to Eliminate All AFK Influence What if Local Chat changed, Hunting the Cloaked...

+1 for the idea, -1 for the amount of **** it would add to the servers' CPUs*

* assuming that the current system is filtered server-side. If the server sends *all* the grid data every second /anyway/, and filtering is done client side, then go for it.

I assume that the servers are sending the whole grid to the client because it still has to render every object in the grid and when you switch between different overview tabs there's no lag so the information is already there. So this idea wouldn't add any additional strain.

I, too, wonder on how this would effect in terms of lag. But, a +1 anyways cause if it doesn't add any or at least very little lag, then this would be great.

I would like to dul overviews,

D-Scan could also be improved a little Instead of the tick box "Use Active overview Settings" why not change that to a drop down where you can select your saved overview profiles.
