Change Race for Aur or $.

Im all for a way to change your race.

Im just not happy with my avatar as it is now and i have no way to redo my race.( I want to be a gal race. )

SO i would be willing to pay UP TO but no more than 30 USD to get to redo my race, and rebuild my avatar.

The only thing it should allow is a full rebuilding of your avatar Model from race selection.

BUT in no way should we be allowed to change are names to get away from are actions.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Because you can now change it anyway from stations.
It didn't allow you to change race or bloodline though, you could only swap avatar with a character matching yours.

Why not?

I think this is a pretty decent idea.

And while we are on the subject of what we'd pay for, I'd pay to have better clothing selections. If you're going to give me a dress up barbie to play with, give me pretty clothes to go along with it. Everything currently is drab, dull, and boring. What happened to color? Who designed the clothes? They are just kind of...blah, for the most part.

I can stand behind this cause. I've actually wanted a race change for quite some time.

Yeah, my reason is for roleplay. I created Aidan as an Amarr because of the fact that Amarrian ships are actually symmetrical. No, I'm not joking.

On top of aesthetics we had actual game play altering choices to make during character creation that, at the time, affected how your character started, and grew in New Eden. Yes, I'm talking about the days when our attributes were dictated upon character creation... by our Race, Bloodline and Ancestry.

As a new player, I had to put the roleplay and backstory of the character I wanted to play on the back burner to ensure that I had an advantage in the career choice I thought I wanted to be in at the time. So, I built him the way I did.

Now, I'll say this.. I disagree with the Amarr mantra and basically everything the Amarr Empire stands for as a whole, so roleplaying an Amarr just doesn't suit me very well. I'd honestly much rather be Gallente, despite the fact that I don't fly their ships.

Does it bother me to play an Amarr? No, not really.

Do I want to be an Amarr? No, not really.

Would I pay to change my race? Yes, I would.

Also, since your race and bloodline no longer affects your attributes the old argument of "it changes the gameplay" is now defunct. The only valid argument I see against it is that you're altering the characters identity. Which in my opinion is a moot point anyways because those who want to; want to change it because they would prefer a different background or appearance.

It wont let me have an empty signature...

so long as you have to keep the same name it would be fine. nothing game breaking about that

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

As long as the name remains the same I see no problem in this.

no name change, no standings reset,

perhaps the rp's would like the chance of changing race to serpitis or sansha?
maybe even gurista...

but some super evil penalty like not able to enter .5 and above systems?

The idea is in theory a good one, but would completely **** up continuity.

It completely destroys immersion. And while you may laugh at this since eve seems to be all PLEX for ISK and all that now. . . but it should still matter somehow.

Your name, your race, your employment history - all these things are important to immersion - when you throw that out - you throw out the whole storyline and the concept of legacy. A fine choice for a revolutionary young player who does not care, but to some of us, it matters a lot.

I really do wonder sometimes if its the MMO community as a whole that has gotten so spineless, or if its just me becoming more genocidal in games. . .

CCP have said in the past that they might introduce 'multiple clones' as in ones of different races/genders for you to jump into.

I can't find the link just now, but it could happen.
