I really like EVE. I do.

My EVE gaming sessions are often interrupted by my little toddler, whom is at sleeping time, very active

So therefore, until he have grown a few more years on his chest, my playing style is rather afk'ish (at times), and limited. I been speculating in just running some PVE missions to grind some standing, LP and a handful of isks.

My current ship setup is none existing, since Ive spend most training on corporation skills. So the suggestions of ships and fittings are completely up to you, since Ill start train for it from "scratch". I have no favor for one ship type or another.

My L4 mission grinding ship to be, should be able to:

• Have stable cap (since I might leave my computer for 10-20 min at times)
• Be able to farm rats, even though Im not at my computer, drones? (for 10-20 min at times)
• Be able to active tank (shield or armor tank) at all times

What I don't mind is the following (if its not avoidable);

• Missions to take a long time to complete (I'm not mission rushing)
• If I loose a ship with full fittings due to me being ganked. (since I afk at times)
• Spend a long time to train up to the setup you suggest :)

So if you would be so kind to suggest a ship and fitting, along with a few words how this setup will work in practice. :)

And if there is skills I just need nomatter what ship I end up with, I would also like to know, prefferable also what level I need them in :)

Apoc can be fully cap stable, so can the Abbadon with just the armor repair running but you are stuck with Em / Thrm. Megathron and the Hyperion as well but Kin / Therm again. You really only need to be stable with Hardeners and Repairs.

Active Shield can be made stable with a strong tank and dmg mods but you need to shell out 3-6 Hundred Million on a Gist Complex Booster.

Passive Shield like the Drake does passable damage with Fury Heavy Missiles / Hobgoblin II's 500DPSish, cheap loss rate and a huge tank. Very fast train compared to the T2 Sentry Dominix or any other T2 Fit Battleship for that matter as well as a cheaper buy in. It also trains into the Nighthawk which does more damage. People say Drakes are intolerably slow. A well skilled Drake isn't as slow as everyone says it is.

Generally I go more tank or painter on non ECM missions. You can drop the AB as well for an Invuln since this is only about 530 Kin / 400 Thrm tank compared to 720 Kin / 550 Thrm. Depends on how tough the mission is.
