There are actually 2 different classification systems; the one that we are most used to which describes the SYSTEM (Jxxxxxx) we are in (C1-6), and a classification system for the actual wormhole itself.

In that table, C1 thru C6 wormholes lead to those systems. And like Jack said above, C7-9 wormholes lead to Hi, Lo, and Null.

That confused me for a while as well when i first got into w-space.....

Edit.....damn I'm such a slow typist Sad

Quite possibly, less than that.

c7s are capitals, c8s are supercapitals, c9s are Jovian.

I went to a c7 once. It had a local channel! And actual asteroid belts! And some stations! And when I tried to shoot the locals that were foolishly mining, I couldn't throw up a bubble and catch him, but a group of sleepers warped in and alpha'd me!

CCP, I say you nerf sleeper response time and power in C7 space!

Correction. C9's are giant star sized space meatball overlords. May their noodley appendages touch everyone.

i second this... i mean seriously there is no way to survive if they decide to do that

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

the max jump mass that can be moved between systems is limited to the lowest class connecting the 2 systems. with hs = c7 ls =c8 and 0sec=9 this actually works.

max mass
c1: 20m
c2: 300m
c3: 300m
c4: 300m
c5: 1350m
c6: 1350m
C7: unk
c8: unk
c9: unk

im not sure how the wormholes between 2 k-spaces work regarding jump mass. however in wormhole space, the lowest class wormhole connected is the one that dictates mass

Sounds about right for K-space to K-space holes too, with the exception of HS, where holes are limited to 1bil KG/jump ofc to keep caps out. I wonder if anyone has ever found a 1.8bil KG/jump K-space to K-space hole? The theoretical models are predicting their existence in low and null security space, but I have not heard even an apocryphal report of one being found.

they dont excist on the server.

and i assumed that c7 (hs) would be 1b, freighter capable but not capital. the rest should be able to transport capitals. however, i dont know if there are lower mass wormholes as well. i found maybe 1 or 2 in my eve career, mostly because i rarely scan empire unless i know a wh i need is there
