How to maximize your LP to ISK ratio?

Is there any way, apart from going all the way down the list - adding in the cost of tags etc, of finding out what the best or at least a decent purchase would be?

Working for Roden Shipyards by the way.

Not really. Make the spreadsheet right the first time and it will keep on giving for years though.

True. I need to make some serious spreadsheets lately. Any ideas on how the best way to go about this is? I'm guessing something along the lines of putting in the average price of the tags on one Sheet and then list each item with how many it needs + the isk it costs and then divide the LP cost by the total profit ISK it would sell for?

That's pretty much how mine looks.

I didn't do all items though. Once you get a sense for how much different tags are going for you can eyeball which items are even worth running and which are a bust before you even start.

Which means I fail at taking my own advice, but oh well.

In general, frigate items are utterly worthless (basically anything that competes directly with B- and C-type -i mods) and BPCs are better than buying the item directly. So that should at least point you in the right direction.

Spreadsheet plus:

Eve Central market search

LP store database

there may be a way to access some kind of api directly from google docs spreadsheet.

Oh and don't forget to factor in the opportunity cost of organising the tag purchases and moving the tags to the LP store stations. It takes time to organise all that; time during which you could be running missions, getting bounties and mission rewards. Its possible that the return on tag investment isn't worth it in all cases.

Implants and faction ammo can offer a very fast turnaround, especially 'specialist' implants like Sisters 'Virtue' set implants.

I did several missions for Roden Shipyards, atften being done with them I bought several Gallente Alpha Nexus Chips and sold them for about 7 mils/piece in Dodixie.

Workarounds are not bugfixes.
