[ 2012.07.09 22:31:30 ] > I get around. But mostly trade and wormholes.
[ 2012.07.09 22:31:58 ] Space Therapist > hmmm...and what gave you the most joy when you were happy in eve?
[ 2012.07.09 22:32:55 ] > participating. was always when i was with a group that had a goal.

[ 2012.07.09 22:36:10 ] Space Therapist > oh
[ 2012.07.09 22:36:50 ] Space Therapist > hmm and it has become boring?...causing space depression?
[ 2012.07.09 22:36:53 ] > Come to think about it. I dont think its an eve problem, not much happiness/joy/pleasure around me these days. Its not fair for me to blame eve.
[ 2012.07.09 22:36:57 ]> Yeah.
[ 2012.07.09 22:37:42 ] Space Therapist > well then..if rl is effecting eve...i usually look at diet...like what did you eat today?
[ 2012.07.09 22:38:29 ] > havnt. not had an apetite for weeks. usually end up making a sandwich sometime in the afternoon.
[ 2012.07.09 22:38:47 ] Space Therapist > mood can start with what you put in your body...what the environment is like around you and such
[ 2012.07.09 22:39:23 ] > that makes sense.
[ 2012.07.09 22:39:24 ] Space Therapist > what kind of sandwich..is it the same one or do you eat a variety
[ 2012.07.09 22:39:44 ] > variety, deli meat of somesort usually comprises the center.
[ 2012.07.09 22:40:02 ] > lettuece, may, mustard. not a lazy sandwich
[ 2012.07.09 22:40:47 ] Space Therapist > do you like tomatoes? cheese? lettuce on your sandwich? do you just put meat and mayo/mustard or something?

[ 2012.07.09 22:42:47 ] Space Therapist > it seems you are on the right track with lunches..but my advice is to maybe add something like potato salad, salad, chips, fries..something else to make it more interesting
[ 2012.07.09 22:43:03 ] Space Therapist > pickles even
[ 2012.07.09 22:43:22 ] > that sounds like a good idea.
[ 2012.07.09 22:43:59 ] Space Therapist > okay lastly...where your computer is where you play eve...how is it descibed if you would describe it

[ 2012.07.09 22:45:15 ] Space Therapist > is it barren, cluttered, a total mess...or kinda orderly
[ 2012.07.09 22:45:23 ] > orderly

[ 2012.07.09 22:46:18 ] > only half the year.
[ 2012.07.09 22:46:36 ] Space Therapist > do you organize it regularly? and in the space between to monitor and the keyboard ...how many if any items a between ihem?
[ 2012.07.09 22:47:28 ]> I just maintain its organization, cant really think of a time when i last had to clean.Between the monitor and keyboard are 4 minerature tank modles

[ 2012.07.09 22:48:39 ] > Got them on vacation.
[ 2012.07.09 22:49:28 ] Space Therapist > very nice...did your space depression begin after you came back from vacation?
[ 2012.07.09 22:50:31 ] > I couldn't say. It could probably be called chronic space depression. I cant remember a time when I wasnt depressed at this point.
[ 2012.07.09 22:50:38 ] > space depressed*
[ 2012.07.09 22:53:31 ] Space Therapist > hmm down to the brass tax...my advice is (1) buy your least favorite ship...or least favorite that won't change your vocation...and equip it to do what you have been doing for a long time in eve...and (2)
[ 2012.07.09 22:54:58 ] Space Therapist > draw a picture of that ship for fun at your desk.....as best you can and tape it to the wall next to the monitor

I want to take the time to endorse this service. I contacted the space therapist about helping two of my corpmates and paid the fee up front. For one of them help was not welcome it seems. But for the other I think she really help him a bit with his super hero sex organ fetish.

Really she is not a fake she will contact whoever you want and she will give them space therapy!

Bravo for doing something funny and creative! I'll be sending you more work for sure.

One additional note!!

with the new fee schedule...since my sessions are running 30 mins+ and are now 20m for the session (i am flexible on time and usually go over 30 mins). For the service if you are gifting a hostile pilot...if contact is not completed i will refund 80% of your deposit (16m isk). I think that is fair for my time trying to reach them etc....and they block our conversation.

to date I have had only one rejection for service.
and one unreceptive to service.

Note! my fees have been adjusted to 20m isk per 30 mins and voice comms is now available.

You should start Somer Blink Anomalous as part of your space clinic. A service dedicated to help all the isk-less addicts reduced to scamming in jita, corp theft and performing paid 'missions' for random agents just to feed their blinking habbits.

Not hating on an attempt at creative ISK making - I applaud the idea - but someone should point out that in many countries, offering any type of professional counseling or therapy without accreditation and certification is a crime, even in internet spaceships for pretend money.

In many places, if someone were to eat a bullet and their relatives found chatlogs of therapy sessions to this char, you could even be criminally liable.

Eh. Depends on the regional laws where that person lives, and where this person lives. Not a risk many mental health professionals would take with their professional futures on the line, but a kid "thinking about a psych major" has less to potentially lose if their criminal laws allow amateur therapy.

I am 100% confident that my sessions would not lead someone to "eat a bullet" as you put it. My conversations are completely for the well being of the client in both game play and in rl for that matter.

Accreditation in this game thus far has consisted of my pilots license. If there is a mission that will give me proper certification in this game...please sir point me to it.

I am offering space therapy. Unless one of my clients is a NASA pilot I think I am clear of criminal action. Added to the fact that it is role playing for the most part.

also, there is no transaction of rl money for my services rendered in the game. It is for the game and about the game. If rl issues are discussed....It would be very speculative whether or not I have any actual knowledge that the client is being forthright...it is an interesting point you make...but there is no cause for me to worry about what I do. Let's say you blow up a players prized ship and goes and to"eat a bullet" over it? And a court looks to find in his computer and a note left by him that you were the reason for his death...??

In my situation I am at least looking to counsel pilots that might have the disposition to do such a thing...in your case...there has been no reparations on the pilots behalf.

Thank you for your support.

To put to rest some of the concerns that have come up in game regarding whether or not a real life therapist.....The answer is no.

And if a client wishes to discuss primarily a rl issue...I urge you to contact a real life professional on the matter.

I am in the occupation of helping to solve game issues that are in and about the game EVE. Some role playing is a given. But I am in no way qualified to address real life issues explicitly and will not service clients that are requesting this type of service.

Another way to look at it is this....people manufacture and sell drugs in the game....and they are not ACTUALLY "drug dealers" are they.

then again...maybe they are!!!

Oh my...

I just had the longest session of my life dealing with the "dangers of blue pill addiction". It was upsetting. I almost lost faith in my job and was suddenly confronted with the desperation of a pilot suffering from side effects.

If you suffer from these horrible side effects. Or know a pilot that needs some help with similar addictions...my office is open.
