The Pale Blue Dot - Carl Sagan

In general, I feel hopeful about humanity and where we are going. Sure we have wars, we have religions, but we can achieve such great things, mighty things. Space is opening up for humanity, Skylon has both ESA and British Government funding and coming along nicely.

China is reaching upwards and onwards to get to the moon, and damned good for them and all of us really.

And a book I reread recently, Mining the Sky which I think should be more general knowledge.

In essence, wanted to share after I saw the Carl Sagan video, always gets to me that one. How does everyone else feel about humanity, our future and space?

The future of Space Travel is here.

And it looks like something out of a 50's sci-fi serial.

Teh, they got it right.

I want to get one and become a Space adventurer and fight pirates with rayguns.

Love that little picture. It literally puts \everything\ into perspective.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

Car Sagan is the man. I hope the next Cosmos series with Neil DeG. Tyson will be as good.

Carl Sagan's Cosmos, even though it's 35 years old is still one of the finest documentaries ever made.
