Charles Baker - scammer alert!!!

Now I was sitting in Dodixie trying to sell my Navy Dominix for 390M a special 10 minute price. Suddenly, a guy who presents himself as Charles Baker - "2 year vet", comes and asks for a contract. Since I didn't have the isk for a contract I try to convince him to trade me since it's free.

I put my ship in the trade window, worm heart that I made someone happy. Just as those feelings were rushing thru my veins I see the 390,000 isk sum appear. For those that do not know that is 1% of the original price. Beeing the real vet in the convo I imminently took a screenshot for the perpetrator to be added to the list of shameful scammers:

I advise... No, I urge you to be extremly careful when dealing with Charles Baker. I would avoid him completely.

So I take it you confirmed with Charles that this wasn't simply a misplaced keystroke before smearing his name across C&P, right?

No no i openly admit i was putting in way less than asked, because i know for a fact he'd swap it for a regular Domi, i mean who uses the trade window except for scams?

Typo? He admited to his scam. But like all scammers who don;t expect for somone to take the trouble of actualy warning others about them, he is excusing himself with poor explanations that have no end.

He asked YOU to make a contract ( he couldn't scam you that way )
You persisted on station trade ( known way of scamming )
You didn't even have 5 mils to pay for contract ( yeah right )

To sum up - you did exactly the same thing as ALL station trade scammers do

Oh and quite recently you managed to steal from some corp so having those 5mils for contract shouldn't be a problem.Lol

And how, prey tell, would he manage to swap the domi in the trade window when you cant remove the ship without cancelling the trade?

He'd just switch it out for a regular Dominix before accepting the trade (which is what he did when I tried to trade him on an alt).

I hereby extend the use of 'Red Jacket' to Pineapple for the CSM 9 Election, to be honest i scammed this jacket too, if you include CCP's placement of it in the Aurum store to be a scam.
