trade orders made on margin should cancel when the wallet doesnt have enough to cover the individual order. That would fix the scam of it and still allow margin trading to be a very useful skill, for people using it "legitimately"

You are about to engage in an arguement with a forum alt,  this is your final warning.

Confirming that you get better explanation of scams on this forum rather than from GMs.

Broken game mechanic that they don't know how to fix. Just remember, in Eve as in rl, if something looks too good to be true, it is.

It's not broken.
It's working as intended.

Here's how you fix it:
Put another column in the buy orders section that shows the percentage of ISK to cover the order currently in escrow. That way you can spot potentially shady orders while still having the skill for legitimate use.

You're all welcome, please write the checks out to "Kyle Ward", just one "D"

Now I'm assuming Yoshitsuni was online (and he was) attempting a scam with this module again. That's the only reason the order would even be there, correct? It's his scam. The only reason that brokers fee is so high, is cause the order remained on the buy list long enough for me to attempt to sell to it again. When i clicked the button to sell, the buy order disappeared and i posted the item on the market as a seller, for what the buyer was offering. This is now twice this has happened.

So you sold using advanced Sell. You should have used simple sell.
It will save you lots of ISK, and you dont risk to put a sell order on market, if the item cant be sold for the price you set.

Note: If you dont want to put a sell order on market, then always use simple sell !

Nice read.......damn long ! .... but nice Twisted And about posting the GM convo. Even in real life reporters are sometimes allowed to break rules if its for the greater good. This scam is too complex for any new player, to see this coming.

First of all, do not post any GM conversation on this forum at all, especially not with the GM name.

Why not, GMs and their actions should be held in public viewing it is the best way to prevent corruption.

CCP Forum rules, any GM conversation via the petition system is a private conversation.

Private to whom, the CCP per to another player, IE our pears. Why should anything that is from a Public entity that is a resource of us all. IE the players. Have the privilege of privacy, for their actions and conversation being a GM effect us all. This policy sounds strange.

Whether you agree with it or not is entirely irrelevant. The fact remains that the rule exists because CCP want it to exist.

"You may not do anything that interferes with the ability of other EVE Online subscribers to enjoy the game or web site..."

Quoted from the Terms of Service article 16.

Trying to argue this point to GM's is like banging your head against a brick wall.

Yes, 'working as intended' is how you label a broken game mechanic that you don't know how to fix, if Eve history is any indication.

I could not read the entire post without aging 40 years so i will place this here instead for my totally off topic reply.

Cuban samiich!!
Ingredients
4 hoagie rolls
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1/4 pound baked ham, thinly sliced
1/4 pound roast pork, thinly sliced
1/4 pound provolone cheese, thinly sliced
10 thin dill pickle slices, approximately 2 whole pickles
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
Directions
Slice the bread horizontally in half, leaving 1 edge intact. Lay the bread open and spread each side with the mustard. Divide the ingredients evenly among the slices of roll. Start with the ham followed by the pork, cheese, and dill pickles. Bring the tops and bottoms together.

Heat your panini maker or sandwich press. Butter each side of the press. Place the sandwiches inside, press down and grill until the cheese is melted and the bread is flat and browned, approximately 10 minutes. If you don't have a sandwich press, you can heat 6 fireplace bricks wrapped in foil, in a 500 degrees F oven for 1 hour and then press the sandwich between them for 10 minutes. Serve warm

To the OP forget the isks and make a sandwich :)
