Sansha Ship Rebalancing?

With all this talk about ship re balancing and hybrids getting a buff, what about our least used pirate ships?

Sure, the Nightmare is the most expensive but that's because its used in grinding Vanguards and nothing else.

And look at the Phantasm and Succubus. Almost no one uses these and yet, we have incursion frigates capable of taking down a Battleship in little to no time.

Are the Sansha ships going to get buffed?

All they may need could be some more cap and maybe shield recharge rate or shield capacity. Other than that, they're pretty damn fine.

Ship bonus: all thermal damage done by small/medium/large energy turrets is converted to explosive damage.

Want Phantasm that simultaneously hits the weakest parts of shield and armor plz. Maybe then I'll slap the PvP fitting back on and ditch the bajillion EHP undock trolling setup. Probably not though.

Lol, can i see that EHP fit?

Ive tried the Phantasm in pvp, sadly since i was always killed first, i have no idea how it does, more survivability sounds awesome tho! :D

And buff the Cynabal too. It's just too damn slow.

Needs some more agility too, amirite?

But really, boost the phantasm/succubus, NM is pretty decent. I want my spiky frig to be half as good as it looks.

Honestly, I think something silly like additional power grid, an additional hard point on the Phantasm and Succubus and changing the tracking bonus to optimal range.

There is nothing wrong with the ships mentioned on this post. You are just not fiitting them correctly.

Succubus should be fine once the dramiel is nerfed.
Phantasm is decent: http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=13080247
Nightmare looks pretty nice on paper, although I haven't tried it yet.

Overall, Sansha ships are not bad, but they lack that special ability that makes the other pirate faction ships so interesting (speed/agility for Angels, 90% web+damage for Serpentis, 90% web+neuts for Blood raiders). The tracking bonus is not interesting enough.

I can only speak for the Nightmare as it's the only Sansha ship that I've tried, and I'll tell you what, I like that I can effectively have another tracking computer built right into the ship. Let me keep it please!

What fit do you use on that Phantasm? I always thought that a Phantasm could drive off a Cynabal but never to where it could hold it long enough to kill one.
