Report the accounts that scammed you - I'm fairly sure impersonating people in order to scam isn't allowed.

Right, at least try that - or ask the real SOMER blink to report them, since it's their reputation that is messed with.
I know for a fact that at least impersonating Chribba for scamming purposes, will be punished by CCP.

I have always trusted somer blink, it seems a new member of staff has seen a way to make billions.

It was my fault for accepting the contract but as i knew they would be from somer, i had no reason to suspect them. Seems SOMER is above scamming people either. I wont be playing again,


TL:DR

An enterprising individual is scanning the list of winners on BLINK and contracting them the ships they won for large amounts of ISK. I fell for this and now I am mad.

This has been allowed since forever and beyond.
Good times creating toons similar in name to trusted traders on the old escrow system.

I am waiting until the OP realises that is winnings are posted online and a smart scammer would post that contract as soon as he saw a name of someone pop up as winner.

Impersonation of others has been against the rules for a very long time and is not restricted to the character bazaar sales.

So let me get this straight. You won a blink. You rushed to your contracts. You pulled up the item and accepted it. And were scammed.

Ok, lets analyze this. Sounds like you accepted a contract from a person from whom you expected to see with a raptor you expected to get. Did you happen to scrutinize the person's name and the contract before accepting it. Or did you rush in like an Pavlovian 10yo on Christmas day tearing open his presents only to find out that Santa doesn't really exist?

The tears must have been epic. Would pay isk to see the expression on your face.

SOMER Blink must be loosing money or not making as much as they used to. Last few days have been nothing but stupid SOMER Blink this and SOMER Blink that topics... any advertisement is good advertisement. So i wouldnt be surprised.
