I am interested in said rorqual, but prior to purchase I would need to know wether the bug from a lil while back is still lurking around where the new buyer would have to repackage said ship to utilize the compression?

If unsure, would you be willing to do transaction through a third party to confirm wether or not it's still so, as the bug would render the rigs nearly pointless(pending GM reimbursement atleast)?

I have regularly traded this ship between corp mates for them to run compression / boosts and never had that problem. So based on that I would say its not going to be an issue for you. If you want to use a third party I would be willing but you will have to pay all transaction fees involved.
