Faction/Pirate Portrait Backgrounds

CCP,
Can we see some new 'logo' portrait backgrounds for pirate and non-empire faction organisations? I have a character specialised in Nation vessels and would really like her portrait to reflect that. I remember we used to have at least a Guristas background... They're only static square images so shouldn't be too much trouble to put together. Perhaps in time for the winter expansion..?

I'll give you a bump.

However, IMO the faction portraits should only be available to those with positive standing to those factions they portray. It makes no sense whatsoever that some Incursion or Mission runner flying around in a stolen Nightmare with -10 Nation standings should be reping their colours and logo.

Same goes for the future faction ship skins.

Or as sellable items, like faction-specific ship skins, clothes etc. This would make a lot more people happy - at least they'd have to work/pay for it a bit.

i support these ideas. it would be great for players to have 2-3 background designs to choose from for each pirate faction/race. sansha's nation, of course, would have to be the coolest-looking. i'm not sure about paying for a background, tho it's an idea to be explored further.
