Are we talkin about the olden days? I have a few stories if you all would like to hear em. I dont have many that deal with eve in general except my grandson might. He's been playin fer awhile.

A few weeks ago I went to this garage sale. My grandson said that the advertisement was on some guys list said they had a lot of antiques. Well he signed me out of the home and we went to it and they have some nice things but one reminded me of the olden days. They had one of the large milk jugs that were made of metal. It were kinda funny because they were trying to sell it for quite a bit and when I were a kid we had tons of those things. When ya'd open it you would have what we'd like to call milk butter on top of it on the account that you could actually churn some pretty decent butter out of it.

Well my grandson likes to buy them containers because his father has this nice western bar at his house and he welds a chair to the top of em and turns em into a stool. Good kid my son, I don't talk about me much on here on the account that he don't like computers much. He aint really much of a kid anymore and he does pretty well for himself. But that's pretty much besides the point.

So we were out there and I started haggling with these youngins that have no idear that they have something that's not rare and not worth what they are chagrin and wouldn't you know it, they don't want to hear not one word I have to say. They pretty much act like what I have to say is not worth their time. Annoyed, I switched to reasonable Grandpa to Annoying Senile Grandpa.

So I go on this their rant about how we used to sit on the cans all funny like to annoy our mother. She didn't want our butts anywhere near where the milk were at you see. Then after a short pause I started to repeat the story... One of the youngins had a look on him like he knew that I were senile and it were only polite to listen to the story again. So I told it again in amazing detail that took about 10 minutes of their time. When I finished he quickly tried to get away but then I pulled out my billfold and they thought I were about to pay fer the milk jug and they slowly re-approached me. I asked them again if they were willing to go down on the price. They looked at each other and slowly one of them said no.

Clearly, they didn't know who they were up against. It were then when I spotted it. There were this bird feeder off in the distance. I pointed at it and told em that that kind of bird feeder would never keep out the squirrels. You see I have been waging a battle with squirrels for quite some time. They like to get into my bird feeders and it annoys me to no end on how much feed they spill and eat. So I started tellin them boys about all the different kinds of bird feeders I've gone thought in recent years and how nearly none of them are good at keeping the squirrels out.

I went on fer I don't know how long and then I slowly turned and looked at the milk jug again. I let out a awww! in surprise as if it were the first time I were seein it and I told em that I'd buy it if they would come down a bit on it. One of em said no and the other said ok. Seein that I now had em split I then let out that I had a story about them milk jugs and the feller that said no changed his answer to yes, he would sell it cheaper.

Their original price on it were about five dollars, I got it fer a buck. Honestly, five bucks wasn't a bad price, I just didnt want to break one of the larger bills in my pocket and I had about a buck in change in my pocket.

Getting out of the Pod and walking around was a dream...

Now just a claustrophobic nightmare...

There is no such thing as a fair fight...

If your fighting fair you have automatically put yourself at a disadvantage.

The winters were much colder, real winters! Not like what you get now, call this a balmy spring day I do.

The weather just hasn't been the same since Cold War, for one it just keeps getting colder each year.

Copine Callmeknau disappeared one day now we are left with Taurich Vorsel AKA BIZARRO COPE!

More rambling from a "bitter, old vet", though not as astute as Grampa Bill P -

CCP appeared on the forums and in the game as gamers at heart. Today they are strictly business (with a touch of profit making).

Acceleration gates engulfed your ship in electricity and the area sounded like it was sizzling in static (or a good steak grilling).

Bouncing off another player's ship created a clunking sound.

Privateers had numerous wars raging around Jita and the gates.

Destroying a rat dropped a cargo container or nothing - there was no salvage.

When you ignited a star gate, it sounded like you were ~really~ getting launched across the universe.

There were no warning labels.

Whining did not get your way around here...
