Well now I feel like an idiot. That's eve for you though, not sure how I never heard about actual stations you can dock at which players can build but there you go. This is only in sov null sec though that I hear, not NPC null sec.

Hahahaha. Another person who knows nothing about nullsec mining.

Rats in nullsec can easily be tanked even with a mining ship.
And you can go afk if you do it properly (ask your mining buddy to warp you to safety etc.)

I was talking about solo mining. Also my arguing skills are at level 0, so I stop here and dock.

When solo mining, then I really agree you can't go AFK (or you can and wake up with the notification you need to update your clone)

Still leaves that you can tank the rats, so rats aren't really the problem. Other players can be.

Pick any station in a SOV null-sec region and set course to it. 99.5% of the times you won't be able to dock.

NPC null-sec has NPC stations and is NPC controlled (hence then name NPC null-sec).

SOV null-sec has player build outposts and conquerable stations. Both which the controller can set rules on about docking, station tax etc. etc.

wormhole space can get pretty exciting once you start poking about in other peoples holes. i'd say of all the holes i've been into and probed theres about 1/3 to 1/4 chance someone will be waiting for me at the exit WH. not using situational awareness, a cloak and MWD and diving/probing into multiple holes WILL get you killed.

You could visit Providence. All Stations here are free to use for everyone unless he has proven himself to be hostile.
It might be wise to check yourself / your corp / your alliance in this little tool before travelling to Provi.
