Actual geopolitical situation?

Can anyone explain it to new folks? It seems to me like goons are dominating everything and only a small part of the players (like 10k out of 350k) is involved in any kind of "spacedomination".

Nothwest vs Southeast, with Delve as the current front line.

That's basically it.

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

I don't know about any "geopolitical" situation but this is how null-sec looked 1-2 weeks ago.

Team yellow is fighting team green and winning (delve is yellow now, querious will be yellow soon)
Team red is fighting team orange to prevent team orange from fighting team green.

The only thing being dominated at this point is the null sec scamers renting space CFC and Honeybadgers are just having fun like they do when they choose to shoot each other to create content for their players (and this happens very often because lols)

Even if if it was 10k, those 10k are online at the same time as everyone else, and making that 10k out of 50k online. So 1/5 in worst case.

So no, there's no domination going on globally.

About 50k last estimate.

Since everyone else in Eve hates and wants to kill the CFC (apparently) that means the CFC are outnumbered some 300K to 50 K or 6 to 1. Clearly they can not lose and the rest of Eve will fall to the CFC and their superior numbers and tactics.

Its almost as though the rest of Eve are a bunch of idiots waiting to be culled.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

By last estimates the CFC was a ravening horde of 1.2m mongrel players being held at bay by 10 brave spartan warriors making up the Southern Coalition. So that would mean it is 1,200,010 players altogether involved.

its very simple. 0.0 is divided into 3 groups. The CFC, soco and parties that say that they will not ake part on it but at the same time are at war.

The parties that say wont get involved line NC. are in war with Solar and friends. Althought they claim not to be part of that war there seems to be no real reason for their war specially when it begins as the delve war. So in many ways they are part of the same war but in different locations.

The south claims that is a strategy to keep NC. at their system just in case they deside to enter the war on the CFC side.
Its a valid reason and tactically is the right choice imo.

The actual rivalry is just something that usually formed with the years of conflict. When i say conflict, i mean wars, kills, threads posted, local chit chat, scams etc. You got to realise also that people do move around alot from alliances and sometimes betrayals happen on the way.

The sandbox is everywhere. War is started with a spark and market is controlled by capsuleers for the most part.
You have choice to be loyal to your friends or betray them for isk. ISK offered for betrayal is something that has happened many times and rumours of real money offred is not something new either. Here is where your sandbox is

The real sandbox is in all the betrayal and backstabing that happens in eve. Eve has had many crazy examples of those in th past. Also tactics are really important in war. Tacking advantage of weaknesssed and exploiting them vs the enemy.

Examples are
BOB gets betrayed, BOB disolves by betrayal, all the isk stolen.
IT rebirth and revenge. Goons disolves, all the isk stolen. IT disolves
DRF takes down the NC(old coalition that was believed to be unbrakable). NC disolves
DRF disolves

and many many other examples

Goons get more press is all, outside of their space, Gallente space and the area around Jita you hardly ever even see a goon.

Even a sandbox has borders to keep the sand inside...

Your post sure seems smart enough, and I am sure that you felt pretty smart posting it. Except everything that you said here is complete bunk, and utterly worthless. The real culprit behind every event that you stated was CCP spontaneously changing the game mechanics, or, a result of mechanics that were shotty in the first place.

Arrow DRF took down the unbreakable NC because of CCP's Super carrier buff, Drone region macro mining and the sudden proliferation of supers.
Arrow Goons died because they forgot to pay the rental bill ( a new ccp mechanic at the time)
Arrow BOB died because CCP thinks it's ok for sov 5 to go poof with a click of a button, instead of the 24 stasis req for anything else of importance in eve. Also, directors cannot declare war so why can they kill everything when people are sleeping?
Arrow IT alliance died because they needed to become goons in terms of sheer number, just so they could deal with dominions new mechanics and pay the sov bills. They needed the rent, and that bred discourse among the old timers who have been playing the game together since the beginning.

So you see no sand box. No sand box at all. These changes were directly precipitated by CCP's **** ups, and if they had not done these thing there would still be a BOB, a goonswarm and an NC. So please put a cork in it, because you have no idea what you are talking about. Roll

Is this true? CCP did all those changes and it hat kinda big impact on some alliances?
