Unable to select probes and PI installations

I have been completely unable to scan or do PI after this recent set of patches...
I can launch probes and bring up the system map, but I cannot move my probes.
Likewise, I can bring up the planet viewer and see my installations, but I am unable to select the installations and do anything...

Does anyone else have this problem?

Same issue here. I can right click to select 'Other player's networks' but that is about it.

also no scans / PI

*gulp* also a 2009 issue mac, though Mine's an iMac

Have you tried reinstalling or clearing the cache? I haven't tried yet, but I'm doubtful it will work, and a re install is a huge pain.

Please check your OS version, the current requirements for Macs are: Mac OS X 10.6.7 or higher

We have seen several similar reports in the Mac forum from users of older versions of Mac OS X.

I'm having the same problem. Last night I was able to move the probes. Today I can't.

Same issue, just checked my OS its 10.5.8 and this is a rather old IMAC too.

So then.... EVE is no longer supported with my computer/OS...
yet the game remains largely playable... the only thin is that somehow they screwed up the buttons for PI and moving probes...

CCP has no intention of fixing such a small "bug"?

Its like the icons display, but it doesn't recognize that clicks in that area should select the structure (or probe) whose icon it is displaying there.

I'm having the same issue with the probes-with Windows. A friend of mine logged into my account on his computer, it worked just fine. I have tried clearing settings and cache, and last night i uninstalled then reinstalled the client. Still doesn't work.
