Greetings

Considering the tricky nature of flying tackle, I would like to see the Orbit at range button NOT change the ships direction. As it stands Orbit causes the ship to slow and change directions no matter the distance from the target.

I would like to see a more fluid orbit mechanic that will allow the ship to orbit from its current trajectory, thus not having to slow and make a 90 degree turn in some cases, but a more natural course correction.

Oh you mean:

Fly towards target at an angle, press button, ships makes a U-turn to orbit the other direction.

This made me laugh the first few times, until I realized it wouldn't stop.

Another funny thing, if you activate or turn off your prop mod while orbiting, the ship slows down to make a U-turn as well.

Again, funny for a bit.

I've just started flying manually. more work, but much more reliable.

What's wrong with that? Slowed ships, piloted by b00ns, are easy to kill and thus are awesome.

i'd love the ships to actually orbit at the range you select. nothing like clicking orbit at 1000 and have it orbit at 3000. (yes, i appreciate it's to do with velocity and agility but change the velocity to make it orbit at the correct range.)
