Looking for corp

Hi, myself and a couple friends recently started playing Eve and have been looking for a new corp. We temporarily created one since the NPC seemed a little restricting but I never intended on it being permanent. We prefer a larger established and organized corp. I believe we can benefit the corp we join and I don't think you'll be disappointed in our level of dedication and loyalty. We are still fairly new to the game so we need a newb friendly corp that isn't hung up on skill points. We learn quick but patience is a must.

We are primarily looking for an industrial corp that has a foothold in lowsec/nullsec. We prefer the industrial side of the game but would like the ability to contribute and even help out occasionally with the PvP side or at least during roams or as escorts. The corp needs to have good leadership with regular fleets forming. We do listen on TS but I rarely speak except during combat and only when I feel it is critical. I'm not antisocial, I just prefer to keep comms at a minimum so I hear important messages.

I have the ability to fly a retriever w/T2 DCSM's and T1 crystals, Caldari cruisers to level 2, and several frigates of different races including most smaller industrial ships. A friend of mine has a good start on refining skills having already completed several ore processing skills as well as the ability to fly lvl 2 Caldari cruisers and training for a retriever. We are currently training up some gunnery skills also in the event we are needed in the larger picture. Some seem content with highsec and can flipping to find some action, but we were kind of hoping to find a corp with larger goals such as taking over space.

I've done searches in game and currently watching this forum as well as the entertaining mud slinging on the recruitment channel in game. I've even went station to station in a shuttle checking out what information I could find on some corps. Truth is there are so many corps, many of them too small for what were looking to get out of the game and help accomplish in game.

Finding the right corp has started to feel about like my chances of winning the lottery. :P I guess I am hoping this post will stir up some different names of larger and more active corps.

What are your skill point levels? Saying that they're low is kind of relative.

As the poster above, you should help us out by putting your characters up on http://eveboard.com/ or something similar. Skillpoint level isn't the end all be all of recruiting but it gives us a better idea of where you are at right now.

This being said, have a gander over here:

Even though you're still starting out we'd be interested in talking to you, send me an EVEmail or convo me in game for the sales pitch!

Skill points
1,698,181 (110 skills)

This is my only character.

As for the eveboard I'm looking at that now and will try to get that updated.

I'll give you a tiny bit of advice: with less than 2M SP you probably won't survive for long in 0.0. The rats would eat your cruisers for breakfast and that's not saying anything about what hostile players would do to you...

Even if a 0.0 corp would take a chance on you, I'd encourage you to look into a highec corp for now. Once you can fly BCs competently you will be able to survive in 0.0. This is nothing against you personally or your intelligence, it is just cold hard reality that there is not much you can do with a cruiser in 0.0 when you only have level 2 skills.

I don't know much about it, but FW might be something for you to look into as well if you want to get your pew pew on. My understanding is that a lot of FW takes place in cruisers and frigates. Red versus Blue might be another alternative that you would be interested in.

Best of luck in your search for a corp,
-SC

P.S. When you can fly those BCs competently, I'd be happy to talk to you about my corp!

No offense taken. Actually I was hoping a larger corp in low/null sec might have a strong high sec division helping them out industrial wise and when players were ready could advance to the lower security area. This would help avoid corp hopping later to find a null sec corp. I could have the wrong idea on how things work but I figured there would be several larger corps or alliances aiming to push one out of an area and take over. This would take a very strong industrial arm I would think. Blink I agree though, I don't stand a chance combt wise right now but hopefully I'll find a corp where I can still contribute to something larger.

You have a good attitude and seem like a smart guy so I do wish you the best.

I have seen corps recruiting which claim to have highsec and 0.0 divisions. So keep your eyes open and maybe you'll find one!

Yuyutsu Naari, I really like what I see with regards to the questions you post and the answers you give, they're logical and well thought out.

You've been given a lot of worthwhile information to your questions about jumping into Nul sec space as such a new character, with recommendations to stick with a high sec corp.

Whilst you may wish to pursue life in low sec, may I offer you Animosity for yours and your friends consideration?
We're a fairly new corporation in terms of EVE though as a guild we've played and continue to play MMOs and other games together for many years.

With regards to the EVE Division, we've got the frame work and plans laid out but need the manpower to make those goals a reality. We're currently in the process of getting our manufacturing arm up and running and need capable miners and industrialists to churn out those goods.

So if you feel that a highsec corp would suit your needs for now hit me up via pm or in game or send me an EVE mail and I'll get back to you.

not going to lie, we do not have 0.0 opportunities but we do have an established high sec operation and if you want to go to 0.0 we have connections with several alliances / corps that would take you. In all honesty, you will have a hard time trying to do anything in 0.0 with 2 mil sp.

So, why not learn the industrial side of things in high sec with us for a while and get you making the isks you should be making. Honestly, you will be limited by skills but you can get nice shiny mods for those cruisers and even learn to make some of them yourself.

give us a check out, if interested chat with us in our recruit channel or send me a mail.

Aegis Coalition Logistics is looking for miners, mission runners, pvp, and logistics pilots to have fun in highsec.

- active US TZ corp
- Experianced corp members
- orca and freighter support
- Corp ore buy programs
- new pilot friendly w/ training programs available
- Self Sufficient build programs
- Strong high sec operations for learning pilots

API back ground check required for all pilots when joining
we are Anti-high sec pirating

Come join the fun and be part of a corporation that is active and has a purpose.

The Black Nova Corp. "Recruiting"

Black Nova Corp. seeks players of all skills and professions. We are looking to recruit people, not accounts.

Black Nova Corp. is made up of pilots who are mature, professional, and team oriented.
“Everyone Fights, Everyone Mines, Everyone Prospers” is the philosophy we live by.
We live in 0.0 and are involved in PVP everyday.

Much of our success lies in its discipline and organization. We recruit people, not accounts, and the result is a very close-knit group of players who put their ships on the line for each other daily, and who dedicate their time to helping Corp-mates with no expectation of payment in return. BNC operates under a semi-socialist system, with money making operations for the Corp periodically throughout the week, and small to large PvP operations happening nightly.

We currently seek:
SKILLED combat pilots. Note that skill! = skill points.
-DEEP SPACE PILOTS. We need those with 0.0 experience, BNC is for fast learners.
-Anyone with dedication, big ideas, and the drive to succeed.

Compulsory Requirements:
-10mil SP+
-TEAMSPEAK. Microphone is required.
-English language is a must.
-Be a PvP focused pilot.

Secondary Requirements:
-Use of out of game forums.
-Adequate weekly play time.
-Mature, professional conduct.
-Ability to follow instructions

We recruit people, not accounts. Black Nova Corp. is not an ordinary corporation. If you can not see yourself in B N C for more than a year, do not apply. We work together for our common goals and benefit, and we are only interested in people who will do the same.

In-game contacts :
- BlackLight Jr, CEO

Website: http://www.blacknovacorp.org

Please note:
-Former members of hostile corps or alliances are often not considered.
-100% dedication is the only level of dedication accepted in B N C Period.
Black Nova Corp. has a solid group of experienced leaders; we offer a mix of roughly 80% veterans, 20% newer members. This is not a corporation, this is a home.

Join channel " Nova PuB. " in-game to speak with B N C members. Convo any of the listed contacts to setup an interview.

To apply, send your full APi to BlackLight Jr for review. A Teamspeak interview will be setup after your background check is complete. Visit “Nova PuB.” In-game for questions.
