This one time in Tribute

a small gang went to have fun and shoot targets...

and 40 came to dwell on thus bodies....

Seriously... is there no other way to play in null sec other than to bloat out the sunshine?

Nullsec is a turf war, so I doubt it will change.

:( its by far not what it used to be... the game was fun 2007 and people had good fights...

still the best game i've played though...

answer me this, a small corp of players wanna pvp but where all other small entities are we dont get pvp regular...

moved to npc near the cluster and enjoying a few skirmishes but now we are stuck with flies round **** syndrome.

We dont do alliances since the politics involved make playing the game a job.... corp is growing but not big enough to actually take on a good fight but non the less we are getting there.

"this is null sec" - we hunt ratters who seemingly can dock up, we cant even catch them in a plex since they changed something with d-scanning and map view... intel swarms of our 4 man fleet and before we know we are having a good fight.... that turns into a cluster **** - apparently null sec is risky and unsafe... anyone who thinks this is stupid!

I agree with you, but soon coalition forum warriors will descend on your thread with their meta gaming -snip- and will tell you you're wrong and everyone will be on their side like a bunch of -snip-.

hard enough trying to get 10 people interested in a corp to be honest...

people seem hell bent on going where there is safety...take for example, we had a gf the other night and on our way back we were hot dropped by 5 carriers 2 tengu's and 4 bc's - hell there was 6 of us!

NPC nullsec, or talk to an alliance that likes having fun and coordinate a silly thunderdome.

TEST loves thunderdomes.

Advice: when you just wander in, no one can tell if you're looking for a skirmish or are a bait squad ready to cyno in a fleet. People will deal with the situation assuming the worst.

40? Try forming up fleets against 1000.

Ho because you're ok as far as you outnumber other players but when it's up to you to deal with larger numbers you feel you should complain?

Cry me a river!!

Null sec is not the carebear land everyone thinks or make jokes about (my self included when trolling naabs), i's safe because of what you just described. You go ther you kill some stuff and keep moving killing lazy one who deserve to die, we're used to deal with that, but if you start camping and make it your playground expect to get the whipping of your life FTL.

Stop complaining.

If you don't want to be part of a big alliance, well then you need to learn how to fight as a small gang. Good small gangs fly way different than large fleets. You need fast ships, and you need to learn how to split enemy gangs. Watch solo pvp videos, and adopt those strategies for small gang. A good gang of 5 can engage a gang of 40, get a few kills and gtfo with their ships intact. You just aren't that good yet, but only one way to get there, practice practice practice .

thats not the point im making - we weren't foming, we want good fights regular but we are always being met with the same types of response:
Blob
Hot drop and blob

dont get me wrong - its your choice of how you play the game, it just be more fun if people cared more for a good fight than to overkill.... but hey this is what eve is now.

A gang of 40 is never going to do that to a full fleet, but it can avoid one quite easily. Fleets move slowly, as they rely on intel and coordination.

I'm not kidding, move into NPC null somewhere and talk to the alliance diplomats of the nearest major alliance. See if you can set up a mutual understanding.

People play EVE to have fun. PvP is the primary source of fun.

And what happens now that every man and its dog has extra long points webs and what not.... It almost feels like the nano is no more with how seemingly easily their defence or for that matter their attack is cut to nothing.

please share how a gang of 5 can have fun when seriously outnumbered?

lets say 40 BC's and Frigs?
